Hi, anyone joined Sheila@Elitejaya P1 IRC before?
May I know how will she conduct the class?
As I have joined Parmindar@KSA before, still considering whether should I joined another IRC for my resit exam.
Thanks for any reply!

I attended Parmindar's P1 class before.
Personally, I would advise against taking his class. It's not worth the money.

Yea I joined before also, I think the notes given and  things he talked is almost the same with normal class, just with an increasing speed, so it should be enough for attended once..
Therefore I'm thinking whether to join another lecturer's IRC, maybe Sheila? or just study myself with my previous notes @.@

Don't mean to criticize but i do think Parmindar's notes are excessive and some are out of the syllabus. He's always telling us to write extra to impress the examiner but I doubt that works. What's outside the syllabus will not score you any marks.

I've been to both his part time and full time classes. They're the same. The only difference is full time students have longer breaks while the part time students get to hear him repeat more of his teaching.

I've never been to Sheila's P1 class before but I do think she is a great lecturer who sincerely cares about her students. (I missed 90% of her class but she constantly emailed me to update on the class progress)

since you have a marginal fail, i assume you have fair knowledge foe the paper but approach the exam questions ineffectively. It'd be useful for you to join Sheila's IRC cause she really focuses on the exam techniques to get her students to pass.

actually i'm having the same thoughts as you. was under sheila last sem for p1 and she was so great. with parmindar this sem and.. i kinda miss sheila. lol. if sheila could teach all p papers i'll definitely pass all at 1st attempt haha. i just like her so much. but her notes is so thick so scary. parminder's notes more manageable i'd say. going to attend micheal's irc as well. hopefully everything will be fine.

Totally! I find her to be extremely passionate, sincere and warm. She even took the initiative to reach out to each and everyone of her students. I can sense the auditor qualities in her, covering every chapter in detail, reducing the risk of missing out any info to a minimum. That's why her notes are so thick.

Oh you'll love Michael. Just make sure you're proactive in his class. Always ask questions! His notes are relatively thinner than other lecturers'.

Is it doable if take p2,p5&p7 in one sitting? Im fulltime student but i done with my f7 for two years already
*
doable, P2 accounting standards help in tackling P7 questions
P2 and P7 will take up most of your time to study

How about p5?
*
p5 depends on ur understanding of the business models and its application
if you understand the concepts well, it won't take too much tine to study

Currently an alevel graduate and had already make up my mind to do ACCA fundamental alongside with 6 months for degree thingy.instead of degree. But heard people said its hard and not worth a try. May I get some suggestion from you guys thanks.
*
what kinda suggestion u need?
i jumped to ACCA from A level science stream, I finished my ACCA in 3 yrs like normal people did. You'll be fine. If yoy have the confidence, you can do it. I never thought about doing degree in the first place cause eventually degree holders go after ACCA. Why take detour?
