If you can't take EVOO, go for normal olive oil. Taste milder but still has the olive fragrance.

You won't be able to use EVOO to cook anyway.

Also keep in mind that all plant products, including peanuts, coconut, durian and avocadoes do not contain cholesterol.

I recommend taking olive oil since it contains essential organic oil which is healthy and also it is unsaturated.

I always use Basso cos it's the most affordable of all EVOO brands. tongue.gif

To me, olive oil is an acquired taste. The liking for it develops over time. When I first started out, I found the taste weird, but have since developed a strong liking for olive oil. I use it for all Western cooking (pasta, roast potatoes, etc) and for dips with bread. For usual cooking I normally use sunflower seed oil or other healthy oils.

Look for 'cold pressed via mechanical means, 1st extract', its the best.
I hv used colavita regularly, recently buy basso, find no difference.
Good evoo gives a bit of kick in the throat.

Guys, does anyone here know anything about peanut oil? Bought a bottle at Tesco recently. It was the only the bottle of its kind on the shelves...haha. I find it tastes nice with basic sauteed dishes, as well as when mixed raw with ginger and garlic and used as a dipping sauce for white steamed/boiled chicken.
