ok after so long of delay in upgrading to ICS finally decide to do it without waiting for my memory card back from warranty
saw on cm9 post mention needed to use ICS below LPH so if i'm coming from GB do i need to use odin to flash any that is below LPH first before flashing CM9?

If you come from GB, not necessary to flash the bootloader. Just flash the rom and gapps in CWM and wipe like normal.
