QUOTE(Omochao @ Mar 26 2012, 09:12 PM) Guys, any guide in updating my Galaxy S2 non G to 2.3.6 for the moment now... Power saving mode is actually just a mode where it will dim your brightness, turn off wifi/ (when not connected)gps/bluetooth when it reaches a certain threshold. It actually wastes more battery as it wakes up the phone to check the battery gauge to determine that. And one more thing, Why does my phone reacts slowly whenever I turned on Power Saving Mode. My aunty's one is still smooth as usual when she turns on her Power Saving Mode, she's using G-version. issit because of my Firmware or because my set is an AP set?? Also, depending on threshold also, frequency might also be limited (in certain ROMs that I know). It's not the case anymore in Ice Cream Sandwich. It was the case back in Gingerbread (one of the ROMs I use, as I remembered). |

QUOTE(Shizuru @ Apr 2 2012, 12:01 PM) That's why sad returning back to gb. Since I kinda like being on ics but was a bit confused on a few changes before and got freaked out. Had to return back to gb since I need to use my phone. Aww too bad Having no internet at my home is the culprit. If not it would be easier for me to experiment this and that. Now have to wait for next weekend Get a mobile internet package from Umobile. RM28 per month. Very cheap! |

NEAK seems to be unstable at this moment. Probably hold off from flashing it with reports of laggy homescreens and general connectivity issues. :/

QUOTE(bryant601 @ Apr 3 2012, 12:04 AM) Odexed is faster but will sometimes lack the ability to theme (there're odexed themes sometimes, mostly deodexed).Deodexed is a bit slower but has the ability to theme. (Actually themers are just lazy to odex their themes :/ or they lack the knowledge to do so, although its very easy) QUOTE(erymanthus @ Apr 3 2012, 12:12 AM) Just checking....what browsers do you all use? Opera Mobile and sometimes Opera Mini Stock ICS Browser? Chrome Beta? Opera Mobile? Dolphin HD Browser? ??? Thanks Chrome Browser is not bad too. But those two above at different situations. |
