All Malaysian official stock rom will start with DX.

Guys,whats the downside of using of other country's stock ROM on our phone? Thinking of using German's stock ROM for G ver,heard it's better in terms of battery consumption.

If you're content with stock rom and never bother changing roms then I'd say go for it. The price is worth it atm

Although the setbacks is the phone will be "G" version, and camera hangs once in awhile and needs a reboot to solve it. That's the only problem I see so far

I did a deep search about this and I realise that 99% are round head pen, this is due to capacitive screen. But there is a special sharp point pen , brand name Dagi. I didn't buy it because I don't need it but you can search in ebay. It's much more expensive than regular rounded pen but if you want to draw precisely, it is worth to buy.

I doubt you can draw as well as using the S-pen, the S-pen has pressure sensor that works with the digitizer, but isn't present in the S2.

Bro, one thing is people say it hangs because they use pirated apps! Can buy phone so expensive but can't afford a few ringgit app. Yes, that's why the phone hang a lot.

Also, android you can modify your phone speed etc. over modifying will lead to hang etc. again, people will blame phone instead of themselves.

For me, I am lucky to be able to afford nearly all the hot phones now. I would say it all boils down the your preference. I feel s2 is the best for now but I uses ip4s because i love it more.

Which is newer doesn't matter.

9100 and 9100G uses different SoC.

All else being equal. But its best you determine yourself which is better for your long run usage.

9100g has higher complaints-to-satisfaction ratio compare to 9100. So if you base solely on statistics 9100 will be a wiser choice.

Non g if you ask me is a better choice but doesn't mean that g is bad. For me I prefer non g cos I got more option for roms. Modding is good but...is time consuming.

for custom rom or firmware wise there are a few being popping up for i9100G
if you love the phone just go for it weather it is G or non-G
both will be receiving ICS update anyway it's just a matter of time for non-G

don't go install pirated app and came back here complain got so much of problem
whatever phone also when having pirated app hang and problematic is common


lastly it all to your personal preference for phone selection
