Just FYI, the branch in 1U can be process for BT as I have done it over there.

Same also within 2 weeks time to be process.

Wow, Bank Islam balance transfer is super fast!! I sent an application to BT from Maybank on last wednesday, today it was done already. 2 days!!! Impressive. smile.gif

have a question over CIMB balance transfer 0% plan of 6 months, do i just need to pay the minimum amount or must pay in equal installemnt which rm(balance/6months) ?

pay the minimum amount for 5 mths, then full settlement on 6th mth.

does BT has any impact on my credit record? i have outstanding of 1k plus at MBB which has not due (i am able to settle anyway) but since CIMB is offering 6 months 0% BT, i am considering whether to take up the offer.

so any advice?

If you plan to take a loan, it might have impact as they will consider how much you still owe to determine your eligible monthly repayment

If you not planning to take a loan, then no issue

Maybe because it's my second time to do BT with AEON... maybe first time takes much longer.
Not sure if you can process BT at the same time as CC application.... go over and ask.

I have checked with the staff, new cc application and BT can be done in there. rclxms.gif

FYI, new application for cc will be free 3 years annual fee as it stated on the banner

FYI, I have done the BT from OCBC to MBB.

The text showed in the OCBC internet banking was payment via GIRO, not cheque

i have to admit, CIMB BT is the Best. From submitting the form by Fax and money to appear in acc just only 3 working days! Amazing.

Unlike SCB, apply to tele recorded and requires 10 working days which is almost 12 days for the money goes through. End up i have to clear those due payment first for healthy CCRIS
