Just wanted to point out that JB for our phone is now 99% stable with the exist of kernel 3.x
There's nothing to afraid of while flashing a rom. You can backup your sms and call log with apps on market. Backup all your apps+data with Titanium backup. Your contact will also in sync with your gmail account. So, there is nothing to afraid of. 

u have the link for kernel 3.x?? mine is still at 2.6++ cause I feel like I'm looking at a Tie-rack when I look at the links XDA forum has lolz..

if you flashed the newest version of cm10 , it should be kernel 3.x because arco stop working on kernel 2.6 already. all the CM10 based rom are now using kernel 3.x

the link is outdated....that is CM10 alpha2...now already alpha 6...

ok, so that settles CM10 so I flash that one then the JB ROM that I have from the 1st link? GApps as well?

download cm10 rom from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1990795 then you can use the Gapps from 1st link. Btw, i think you misunderstood the meaning of cm10 and JB rom already.

Jellybean = an os system. Android version 4.1.2
CM10 = cynogenmod10 ( It's a custom rom based on Jellybean os )
CM9 = cynogenmod 9 which based on ICS os

Hi guys. Anyone facing duplicate pics appearing in the gallery? It comes back even after it is deleted.

If you are trying to root with recovery mode method, no need to connect your phone to computer.
Here's the step to make sure you're doing it correct :
1. Download the update.zip and put it in your internal memory.
2. Boot into recovery mode by pressing power button+ volume up + home button. Release power button as soon as SAMSUNG logo appeared.
3. A box with android should show up. Hit the menu button and choose apply sdcard:update.zip (navigate with volume up and down button, confirm with home button.
4. Reboot system now.
5. Profit??? 

sadly i cant do anything in recovery menu.
already push all  button there but no got no response.
after that the phone reboot itself.
 

My wonder is now on 4.1.2
Use 2.3.6 before and i cant use 2G network, and still cant use 2G in 4.1.2.
is it hardware problem?

using 4.1.2 now but no radio anymore.. how to install radio?

fm radio doesn't and probably never will work with custom roms, since cyanogenmod team has no legal access to the necessary plugins and files

yup spirit fm is working, but it's not free. Which custom rom ur using anyway? i've no prob with the latest cm10 alpha 7
