Due to hot request on changing map, i'll consider to change it to 6.12.
BTW, the champion prize will be increase to RM 5,000.00 instead of RM 3,000.00 due to excellent respond from outside.
Anyhow, i'll recomfirm again by this weekend and REPOST again my tourne...

yes of course, 6.27b has new hero, lots of tweaks and balance changes compared to 6.12b, and it is the latest stable version, so you should use 6.27b

Yluxion, you are kinda shallow. Let me cut this short for you. It is because of the players, why WCG adopted 5.84c. I cannot reveal more then necessary.
Edit: But one thing I must agree is, sooner or later, the switch must be made. So one CC will have to sacrifice being the guinea pig.

Lol, i see a lot of "so-called pro team" play full team buckler or cyclone in 5.84c. (Yeah, no joke...)

A lot of people love to play this especially normal pick for Sentinel side with Keeper of the Light. Crazy unlimited mana for whole team to abuse buckler.

Thank god, they nerf buckler greatly to Mekanism in the 6++ ver.

I think 6.19b should be a better choice for tourney game since Icefrog (creator of Dota 6++) already advice players to players to play this version.
The 6.2+ series are playable but he told us that it is still got a lot of things to fix and improve.

hmm...so-called pro team...

if they play -ar mode then can easily win...but for tourney they choose to use the safest way to win...that's why all teams using the same(almost) strategy..
if this tourney use v6...then u will c what will happen...it will be the same thing

sooner or later v6 will replace 5.84c, because of the simple fact that v6 is BETTER in every aspect, and it is updated constantly

so the organiser for this tournament can start making the change by using 6.27b, i.e. the latest version of map, to tell the so called "pro" 5.84c players that this change is inevitable, and to encourage more people to start making the change and play the official map

i play through mirc, few months back almost all games are 5.84c, but now, 90% of the time i only see 6.27b, this trend will go on as more people realise v6 is better

overall i hope you can make it 6.27b to make the start

either take 5.84c or 6.19b(the most stable version i ever played) or 6.27b(or latest) as tourney's map ...
bcoz as i see 6.12b still has alot of bugs needed to be fix. 

I'd advise against using ver 6.12 for the reason that online players don't usually play this version..

The feedback you got that 6.12 is an excellent choice would be true in July  2005 but it is no longer true in December 2005..

If you are going to use a 6xx series map then please go with the recommended tournament version which is the 6.19B or the latest 6.27B..
Otherwise stick to 5.84C or better use 5.84D (as this is a fixed-up version of 5.84C)

My opinion only...

Regarding the DotA version, either stick with 5.84c or 6.27b. There's no point to play v6.12 since it has been changed and tweaked numerous times due to balancing and bugs issues.

6.12 --> 6.27b  You already can think how many changes they've made.

Bro you only have 3 choices lar:-

1. Version 5.84c/d (More elite players):-
- Most malaysians play this map. Bad point is there's a group of people who refuses to play this map coz of support for newer map versions. Also i think most people already know who are the people who will probably win the tourney.

2. Version 6.19b
- Good point is this map is one of the more stabler versions. basically i think if i'm the organiser wouldn't really wanna go use this map reason is becoz this map is neither here nor there. In other words ask yourself this question... you want to attract elite players or new team testing out their tactics?

3. VErsion 6.27b or Latest Version ( more teams testing out new tactics)
- good plus point for using this map is becoz it's new, here are a lot of untested tactics out there.
- You need to set a dateline to decide the latest version
- bad point is lots of bugs might still exist. So you will need more experience Dota Marshals around and make it very clear in your instructions what is considered as bug abuse and what is not.

i think u should use 6.27b ... stick with it even though new version come out .. as team need to train and develop tactic ... hard to train if the version keep of changing .... 96 teams ar .. i think hard to get so many teams ... but maybe .. maybe got ppl interested since new map /// new chances of winnning liaw ..
