You can buy the radiation suit from Ranger Citadel.

It can't take more than level 2 radiation.

Can't believe within 2 days I have spent around 14 hours in this game.

Think you rarely need it once you get better sniper rifles. Can one hit most of the time.

Feel like there's some stuff missing from the game. Like at Ag Center, when the doc asked you to collect pods, either fragments or whole. Apparently missing one skill to be able to collect the whole pod (sneaking skill I was told). Then at Citadel there's the head at the museum, it says if I have robotics and electronic skills, I might be able to hack it. Only have computer skills but can't use it on the head hmm.gif

Unker 20 hours already notworthy.gif Only played 8 hours so far

You need Outdoorman skill to help those scientists being held hostage.

I don't think you need skill to collect the pod fragmentsl. I managed to complete the quest. Also there are some sidequests after this, so make sure you explore every inch.

Or you can use surgeon skills for the hostage.

No, no. If you read the dialogue when the doc gives you that quest, she said that you can either collect 10 fragments, or if one of your party members have "green hands and quick reflexes", you can just collect one whole pod before it explodes. I thought green hands means outdoorsman, but when you use that skill on the pod, you can't click it. So there's something missing there, you can only complete the quest by picking 10 fragments instead of the whole pod that didn't explode.

You mean sidequests after using serum on the center? I did all of the sidequests there I think, before I got the cure for the stuff. Maybe I will walk around again and see.

I am curious as to whether do you still get the side quests in AG if you go to highpool first.

nope. it's one of those CHOOSE either ONE quests. you can also ignore and FAIL both requests if you just go somewhere else on your own sweet time... laugh.gif

for weapons my party uses a combination of ARs, sniper rifles, energy weapons & pistols. shotguns are just bloody awful & pointless. doh.gif

melee weapons also suck since they miss almost all the time. i think put points into brawling better.

btw i INT 8 is a must for party members since 4 skillpoints per level is the optimum way your characters get better. gotta say i prefer Fallout's skills more than Wasteland's. spending points for lockpick & safecracking seem pretty redundant sweat.gif

No wonder.

I agree with you Shotguns. I already stop using them. For close range, I will stick with submachine guns, good damage and so so accuracy.

I also don't use melee weapons. Better off taking them out before they get close.

Most of the time, can sneak a shot from the Sniper before the turn based combat commenced.

sniper rifles are awesome but becoz of the high AP i only have one sniper.

it's only the early parts of the game but so far there's not a lot of place for my team to take cover unlike X-COM. and i would have liked it if the team can be put in ambush mode prior to combat instead of choosing it when their turn is up.

It is more like Fallout series and Jagged Alliance series than How to Survive.

Good fun if you like turn-based tactical games.

Enemies AI a bit better on higher difficulty. They seek cover and retreat at times.

That could be interesting.

Is it possible to change the game to higher difficulty setting mid way?

Thanks, I will change the difficulty after I get home.

The game already made USD1.5 million in 4 days.

in terms of loot management, i like Wasteland's inventory better than D:OS.

find a gun? ok. better than the one you're using? use it. if not then just strip the weapons for parts and sell the rest of the junk! simple! thumbup.gif

i spent HOURS trying to organize my inventory in D:OS... rclxub.gif

Also easy to sell junk.

Click on sell junk and it will all go.

However, I am curious on why there are so many types of junk.
