Also easy to sell junk.

Click on sell junk and it will all go.

However, I am curious on why there are so many types of junk.

Wasteland 2's first post-launch patch due today, "save games will be fine"

QUOTE
Brian Fargo and inXile Entertainment are patching Wasteland 2 for the first time since officially releasing. There are still a number of bugs and glitches to work through, including the combat stats.

To a great cheer among Rangers, Fargo reveals they've "backed off on gun jamming" percentages, which are happening much too frequently given the numbers.

The full changelog will be made available once the patch is live, but they could well contain spoilers so beware. The studio hopes to have Steam achievements next month.

Better localization is also being worked on for the next patch, with a manual French language solution available right now, but it'll have to be manually removed once this new update is released. Gamers have been complaining that the stats in Wasteland 2 aren't all that accurate, with percentages seemingly way off.

"Some of you will be happy to know that we backed off on gun jamming % a bit. Was a tad frustrating but sure great when the enemy did," tweeted Brian Fargo. "Hope to have an update with Steam achievements in the next month, be prepared because they will be quite odd."

Gum jams are a plague even though they could be just around 2-5% of a chance to happen. This also affects the percentages when using picklock, or other skills outside of combat, so it's an underlying problem with random number generation it seems. Hopefully this patch will restore some sanity to the Wastes.

*UPDATE* Wasteland 2 earns $1.5 million over four days, claims inXile

QUOTE
*UPDATE* We originally reported this as 1.5 million copies sold in four days. Turns out that was ever so slightly off, and inXile got back to us swiftly with a correction:

"Apologies, due to the communication wires being crossed, inXile actually achieved $1.5 million in revenue sales over four days on Steam, not units sold.

Whilst still impressive, it’s a different story from what we thought. We can only apologise for the confusion and are now banging our collective heads again a desk."

No problem chaps! Please don't knock yourselves unconscious on our account.

----

According to inXile Entertainment, its long awaited post-apocalyptic sequel Wasteland 2 has earned over $1.5 million in sales over the first four days since it launched last Friday.

"We are ecstatic that the style of game we love so much has been embraced so well," said inXile's founder Brian Fargo. He's right to be chuffed, those are some impressive numbers.

It's been a long and winding road for Wasteland 2. Originally planned for release last October, the team decided to add an extra year of development time after they raised almost $3 million through the game's Kickstarter campaign - $2 million more than they had planned for.

Finally released last Friday, 25 years after the original Wasteland came out, Wasteland 2 has been largely well received by critics so far. In our review we said that despite some rough patches and the occasional piece of uninspiring level design; "It's a perfectly enjoyable RPG with some fun combat and exploration, and a worthy sequel to the cult original."

The game's available over on Steam right now. It will be fascinating to see what the inXile team do next. Brian Fargo has expressed a wish to return to Kickstarter, and given the success of Wasteland 2 that would seem like a smart move.

i myself have to eat humble pie as despite my intiial wariness about the game i am currently enjoying doing all the missions except maybe being the messenger boy in the rail nomads camp (that one sure sucked ass doh.gif ). barely notice how the game looks like now. tongue.gif

it's hilarious too. those honey badgers.. laugh.gif

on a side note, i find that even with a medic tagging along, you can't heal stunned & broken limb status. very annoying...

things the medic can do:
heal disease - use antibiotics
heal poison - use antivenom
heal bleeding - use sutures
heal knocked out - use trauma kit

I also didn't like that railroad nomad quest. Almost all possible outcomes are bad with the exception of one.

I really like the more combat orientated aspect of the game as compared to the RPG elements.

Frankly, the only thing I am annoyed at is the fact that I need to contact HQ to level up.

My team mostly using range weapons.

How about yours?

Deimos' team is by far the most interesting take.

i have 2 guys carrying AR, 1 guy with energy weapons & 1 sniper. most of them have high coordination (for the % to hit) & intelligence (4 skill points per level).

i really hate melee weapons as they tend to miss a lot. brawling might be better but as i didn't want to waste the skill points i just go pure range.

useless skills so far are animal whispering, bartering, & toaster repair. what a waste of time.

btw, i didn't quite understand the recruitable follower mechanics at first. if you did not include them in your team the first time, it seems that they're gone forever. need to dismiss one of your followers once. recruit them. then dismiss them again. why can't i just tell them to go to the base?!! doh.gif

also i have missed a lot of followers it seems.. sweat.gif

Which follower didn't you recruit? Put Spoilers just in case.

In my case, I was able to find them followers I didn't recruit immediately after meeting them.

The only follower for that I could not recruit later is

my current party:

1. brawler 10/10
2. blunt 6/10 convert to brawler 6/10
3. blade 7/10 now convert to brawler 6/10
4. pistol 4/10 now sniper 9/10.

my sniper has 10 coordination
all my 3 brawlers has 10 strength
feels very good when i punch them and they explode into pieces.
blunt and blade really sucks.
brawling damage gets higher when they level up.
my level 16 brawler non crit damage is around 23 - 26 i think but his crit rate is 100% so its always crit damage x 2.5 so the damage is like around 58 - 65 per punch? sometimes i see 70+ though i dunno how that happen.

5. angela deth default 6/10 assault rifle, i read she gonna leave later
6. dr rose pistol 3/10 then i train her assault rifle 6/10

recruit tribal ralphy but sent him back to ranger citadel.

the shotgun hobo hates me, says i smell bad. dun wanna talk to me anymore.

yeah, animal whisper, barter, toaster repair really useless.
the items found in toaster repair ... quite rather useless. maybe only for memento purposes? no combat application at all.

Items in toaster can be trade to a character in Ranger Citadel or few NPC for something else, experience, weapons etc. You can google it up.
