well, i've switched my dining to the back, and living to the front like a traditional terraced house. just need to do some minor rewiring and getting the astro points to the front.

the wet kitchen will still be at the side, you may still maintain the dry kitchen, but since i've moved my living room to the front, i have decided to just go for larger living space without a dry kitchen, with some built in shelves and display cabinets at the dry kitchen area. much better this way, for me, wife and kids.

the existing designated living room is just too bloody small to fit anything there..

Where you locate your fridge? I find the wet kitchen is too small to house it. The only place is at dry kitchen. If you switch the living to the front. Then you will probably having the fridge at your living room

i'm putting the fridge in the small utility room.. some owners i heard will be hacking off the utility room and the en-suite small bath to make way for a huge wet kitchen..

for the time being you're only allowed to install additional 3 feet glass roof.. if you want to physically extend your living room space, you gotta wait until JMB is formed with revised house rules and send for DBKL approval..

this serve as the general guide, however, other factors

1) North south orientation and east west orientations shd have different price
2) If the unit comes with extra land?
3) if the unit closed to the mosque?

yes, you can install glass roof at the laundry area, but up to a certain feet (about 4 feet). and also the back area on the ground floor and half of the top floor sky terrace.. you may get the standard glass roof extension plan from the management

depending on the facing.
Those lake facing units, they rather keep the living room facing the lake.
