if you got boat you can drive to pulak pisang too...about 25 mins from bkt malut.. loads of grouper..all table size

Ya, forgoten what pulau and those name of pulau,

But once me and Voon went fishing also in boat, rented from those local old folks there, they drive us around those island, manage to get 20 ++ grouper from small to biggest around 2kg.. nice dinner~~~

yeah man...cos of the coral there...so there's quite a number of grouper.. you can get about 20++ in one hour.. but depending on the size and where is the spot la...

usually i do night fishing... or i take the boat out for weekend...usually me alone or with my uncle that time la...

our place here call those fish as merc benz or sargent , brukang or chiam chu.
got 2 variant.. one type gold and other silver hehe .. pulau ketam got lot of these kind of fish..

Hi frozenthrone, welcome to LYN fisho club. There're a lot of way to rig a 'perambut'{rig for hooks}, from what you describe, i believe that's a 'Paternoster Rig'{hook top, lead weight/ladung below} or you can try using the 'Ladung Hidup' style.......

hehe few years ago .. can consider frequent .. every sunday sure rent boat n fish but now tukar lubang edi.. i go n follow those lau ah pek (tanjung agas), they really pro ~ lolz lot's to learn from them..

speakin bout pulau ketam, usually i fish at those "sangkar ikan" or "yu chueung" sometimes river .. lots of siakap n tanda oh .. taruk makan... taruk makan haha miss those days, btw bro welcome
