Hi frozenthrone, welcome to LYN fisho club. There're a lot of way to rig a 'perambut'{rig for hooks}, from what you describe, i believe that's a 'Paternoster Rig'{hook top, lead weight/ladung below} or you can try using the 'Ladung Hidup' style.......
QUOTE(frozenthrone @ Oct 28 2006, 11:48 AM) hi there...newbie here in fishing..bought my fishing set last week...only cost me RM50 ![]() CHEERS AND HAPPY FISHING |

Woooo bro nico, you just reminded me bout the 'Sangkar Bocor'{escape fish} last 2-3 months back at Pulau Ketam, 'taruk makan, taruk makan' but all standard size grouper, bout 1-1.5kg type. In total we caught bout 21 grouper, my friend which was on another sampan caught bout 28 grouper, very shiok......kekekekeke.........
Bro Frozen, like what bro nico said, a swivel would help or else your line will get all twisted up. As for bro R3J, we wait for bro Rory comments as he's the lure expert.... |

Icecube, this sunday is 5.7m water, almost the same like last month where sea water flood up to roads. It's not advisable to park your car near any seaside incl starcruise paypond or sealion and definitely a no-no to go out to sea.
This QiW fella don't tapau fish wan laa icecube, he oni tapau the Laguna 'Indon Chicks' laa.......kekekeekee.......... QiW, OFB pic for you to 'racun' those ppl that are going to OFB with you.....kekekekeke........... ![]() |

Bro voon, for the slippers, try to get he asadi wan, bout rm15-17 oni, don't get the wan that without 'cop asadi', very easy 'pecah'.......
As for the guppy, first you have to bbq/bakar the belacan, grind it to powder and mix with whole guppy{without water}, try not to get big guppies, small wan very good, hook the guppy from the mouth to tail but don't protrude the hook as the prawn normally eat from tail to head. |

Soli, soli, the correct spelling should be 'Abu Koster', it's a Spinner, was made famous during an outing to P9 published few-few months back in Rod & Line, good for Queenies but the spinner very hard to get nowadays, no more production liauw.......
