Bro Voon, Surfcasting is meant for shore, water breaker fishing. It's more to bottom fishing, but however you can do popping with it too

It's using a very long rod...(i mean really long) at least of 14footer.. i've used a 21footer rod before and to cast the bait ....pheewww...only GOD knows how tough it that..

i think they charge rm10 per hours la that ANGSA pond .. for fish variety i think u better ask wizfish or kurauking la .. they hang around port klang area fishing one laa . hahahaha
that tackle shop i mentioned is in port klang .. mostly heavy gears for saltwater fishing .. but got some lighter gears for freshwater oso la i think .. hehehehehee ...

ohhh..... senangin..... u reminded me of the senagin i caught it langkawi..... was the best fighter i can remember... i was using this small mitchell spinning reel with this 10 pound abu line......
my god gave me hell of a time.... but it was so unfornately that i cant take the fish up as i was fishing at the bridge in lgk near the airport(u know what i meant if u been to lgk...) the brdige was bout 10 mtrs away from the water.....
didnt dare to pull the fish up as i was using a very thin line......
wonderful moment there.... but usually the fishes caught at the bridge was the stupid BAUNG lookalike.....

baung look alike kaa ??? i think that is known as semilang or sembilang laaa ... looks just like catfish only one but from saltwater .. hahahahahaaa

no.... sembilang is different lar...... this baung lookalike i forgot what name liao.... even the sembilang is even tastier than this salt water baung lookalike.... only available at those shore which is muddy...

ya.... finally remember what the call it in langkawi liao.... it is call ikan duri.... really look like the baung...exactly the same...even the colour...silverish kind..... even sounded like baung.....
but once u try the taste of this fish i bet u will puke.....

the local ppl in langkawi called it ikan duri......i had been in lgk for 3 years....
wonderful moment there.... not the fishing lar.... but the beers....ahahahhahhaahaa

They charge RM 10 per hour.. fishes varies from red snapper(merah/ang hu), Golden Snapper(Ang Cho), Yellow tail barracuda (i caught a 2kg+ one before), Siakaps (lots of it), chinese pomfret, Threadfin Salmon (senagin) and sometimes.. tarpon and talapia is caught before in that pond.

U da man la bro rory.. i use my 12 footer to cast in starcruise pond also quite hard already.. i can imagine almost twice the length and cast.. suffering man.. u need lots of clearance space.. but i think the cast can reach 200 metres easily hor.

eerr ... surf casting is when u go surfing on surf board and then stand on surfboard and cast out one aahh ? hehehehe ..

waaa ... go starcruise oso need to use 12ft rod mehh ??? i dont have 12ft rod oso laaa ... me chinese .. short short one .. not african laa .. hehehehe
