booked the jazz, initially wanted the insight but insight in terms of leg room is smaller than the jazz. booked black but SA said earliest can get is end of April. So he offered me the silver instead, getting it this Saturday! I saw the accessories offered by Honda Malaysia, I think the spoiler is the most worthy. the side step garnish my SA said its stick on like a sticker, better get it outside. As for Connex, definitely worthy as it offers you peace of mind. If your car is stolen, you will be compensated RM5000 immediately for inconvenience, if it is not recovered within 72 hours , ud get compensated cash RM10000, and then subsidy of RM15000 off your next Honda. Just by loosing your car u'd get RM30k on top of your insured value, and Honda's insurance is quite good. Give you full! Take that money (Connex; RM30k + Sum insured= RM92k= RM122k and u can upgrade yourself to a new ride. Heard there were alot of fraud cases whereby they try to make their own cars disappear!

QUOTE(jumanz @ Apr 3 2012, 03:10 PM) Agreed I think ultimately is preference. and both have pro and cons. well any best price for connex? this week for silver ! that's fast yeah, one of the reasons i change from black to silver, coz fast unfortunately no discounts or promo for the Connex (to my knowledge) but good thing is that you can add it to your loan, no need to out fork cash in one go!

QUOTE(jumanz @ Apr 4 2012, 04:59 PM) haha I guess alot of people are getting insight Instead. But personally i tried Insight I really like the front dash design but the rear only. and it has a spare tyre agreed, most bought an Insight. But I like the Jazz coz of the leg room that's all actually and the fact it is not a Hybrid teardrop design.

actually, if you physically count the number of airbags in the car, the Jazz has 8 airbags in total. Dealers advice Honda HQ but they already printed the catalog and brochures in the thousands already! Added on April 5, 2012, 12:21 pmQUOTE(jumanz @ Apr 4 2012, 11:02 PM) haha right I mean at the end of the day the extra air bag does help I suppose . " depending on the impact" well if the extra airbag will feel much safer for the owner, by all means go ahead with it. but I think the advantage for both cars is the CBU thingy. If the prius C would be slightly bigger, i would have fall for it as well nevertheless is preference cause there is always Toyota and Honda Fan boys around cheers ! can't wait for noobling reviews Do share yoo car arrived showroom and did PDI already. Today getting it tinted and sand blast no. plate to the windows, and registering. Tonight or tomorrow should be out. Anyway, saw the spoiler on the test drive car, and to me doesnt look good. I prefer it without the spoiler, just my personal taste i guess. This post has been edited by noobling: Apr 5 2012, 12:21 PM

QUOTE(perror @ Apr 8 2012, 10:27 PM) Hi guys, thanks for the info:) How's the car going by the way? Hopefully the milegae is up to expectations. I'm pretty much set on the Jazz with the only exception being is the concern about battery deterioration under the hot sun. Not sure if that will happen though or is a no issue. Got the car on Friday noon, so far i've clocked about 320km. My consumption so far is averaging about 5.6l/100km, i think it can do better, as i was trying real world driving, driviing about 120-130kmh on the highway. I think the 5 years warranty on battery should put your fears away, or do like most ppl do, sell your car when it reaches 5 years old This post has been edited by noobling: Apr 9 2012, 10:25 AM

QUOTE(Quanta @ Apr 16 2012, 06:24 AM) Full tank, umbrella, carpet and rm250 rebate. Thats all. Honda seems hard to give more. Even tinted also need to fork out my own money. Jazz selling like hotcakes, they dont need to give freebies.

QUOTE(nestortcy @ Apr 16 2012, 04:44 PM) I stay klang valley. I called Honda just now. The registration fees is giving to runner where help me register my car with plat number ABC1234 in JPJ. Do you all encounter this? How come extra RM100 to register that vehicle to JPJ where not include in OTR price? While the inspection fees , Honda Malaysia no need pay. I already call SA to reconfirm. the rm100, RM50 goes to runner, RM50 goes to JPJ, if you dont want to pay the RM100, you can register the car yourself, thats why it is not listed on OTR price.

QUOTE(acid_head @ Apr 17 2012, 01:44 PM) hello sifu here,I heard that some air cond issues about honda hybrid. When driving with ECO mode on, the air cond will not as cold as normal mode, or stop functioning? Some owners said it the air cond only stop functioning while the car stop and put to N, then the air cond will stop function for fuel saving purpose, is that so? ps: not bashing here, i'm damn stim jazz hybrid, it is in my to-buy-list now... juz wanna make things clear before make the decision.. hahaha not an issue actually, its a feature of the car, very simple to overcome this, if you are feeling hot, just switch off ECON mode or set the temp much lower than the outside temp

Added on April 17, 2012, 9:12 pmecon = save money < aircon. hot = off econ < save money. econ mode, gear D brake ON, in jam, if engine off, compressor off. air cond will get less cold. econ mode, gear N brake OFF, in jam, engine on, compressor on. air cond will get cold, if lazy to press econ button. loving your ride? last week i tried my usual driving style, can hit about 600km full tank. now testing cruising on the highway at 110kmh, can do about 750km now.

drove the car to singapore on the weekend. 3 hours drive at average speed of 130km/h , averaging 6.4l/100km, overall i really enjoy the ride, not too bumpy, not too soft, since the bottom of the jazz is somewhat sealed up, you dont really feel the wind drag. since i commute daily from sban to kl, i think i will stick to my eco driving, ave about 5.1l/100km

QUOTE(Yapmy @ Apr 26 2012, 01:16 PM) Can auto lock function be added or enabled? sigh..thats quite an important feature for me. I noticed that Malaysia's Jazz hybrid also does not include the Bluetooth function which is available in other countries. If you put to S mode the auto stop will not function. u can add yourself in any accessory shop. yup, no bluetooth, but then again if u want bluetooth can just change HU. Added on April 26, 2012, 2:31 pmi think shud just get use to the auto stop feature, it is designed for fuel efficiency after all. unless the weather outside is bright and sunny, then yes perhaps you do not want the auto stop function.
