checked with Honda, the Cobra module in our Jazz do not have autolock function. If you want that feature, you will need to purchase an extra module for that. Not sure how much it cost, but you can check with Cobra.

checked with Honda on this also, only OEM spoiler available, perhaps the body kit that you have seen was installed by a third party. But i feel that this spoiler not very fitting, haha. Prefer the Mugen spoiler instead. Just my opinion.

Is the Jazz ICE system compatible to Android Phone? Has anyone try to connect Android to USB plug and able to play music? Thinking to get my wife an Android phone, but need to know whether Android phone is compatible to the car system 1st. I have tried my iPhone and it works, but not sure if Android phone works or not. Can't find any info on manual.
*
don;t know if it does. I've tried my iPad and it works, my BB on the other hand does not.

Are you sure they will do reset just by telling them that you can't reach 600 km?
*
strange, FC is definitely driver behavior. so if i drive like a madf*ck and i dont get 600km, i go back and ask them to reset?

Hi, I wanna ask the Jazz hybrid owner, is it true that the car can be driven like a normal 1.3 car if the hybrid function is switched off? Does it mean that the car runs solely on engine without using the battery? Or does it still runs with battery even with the ECON function is off? Anyone can explain?  icon_question.gif Thanks!
*
it is a normal car. U cant swtich hybrid function on or off. watch the video below, self explanatory.

I have a contact that quoted me the mugen spoiler RM300 and if i'm not mistaken its inclusive of painting & installation

and he also quoted me full set Mugen Jazz hybrid bodykit is RM1950.

This is the contact person Jason: 0122154223, perhaps you can call him to confirm if its inclusive painting and installation.

and these are the pictures that he emailed me:

Btw please add on behalf of my wife's milano red... smile.gif

5.8L/km is not a really impressive figure for a hybrid. Insight has been reported to be having around 4.8 - 5.0 L/km and i'd expect Jazz to be better because it's lighter by 50kg comparing to Insight.
*
again, fuel consumption is very subjective, i am getting about 5.0l/100km with mixture of highway and city driving and i'm averaging about 90-100km/h on the highway.

I saw a forum in Cari talking about running full EV mode at 85/90km/hr, anybody experience it ?
I thought the full EV mode only activate at speed <50km/hr, wonder how the forumer doing this ?
*
Possible, throttle must be minimal like stepping on an egg. Try maintaining RPM below 1,500, so far i only got full EV mode at 70km/h

How do you get 4.x 1/100km? I'm at 5.4-5.8 usually in eco mode. I don't do sudden acceleration or braking. I drive around 60-70 in city area and 110-120 almost constant or in cruise mode. Is there any special tips to get the mileage lower. I couldn't archive the full crown from the car rating although my dashboard shows green most of the time.

Secondly from here i saw some one posted to charge your battery, put to Neutral and ram up to about 3000 rpm. Is that correct to do? I don't see this method in the manual or did i miss it out?
*
i did 4.8l/100km once before only. But that involves driving very light footed, aircon temp on auto usually at 25-26C. I avoid using the cruise control as consumption only increases as it will try to maintain at the speed you've set.

For me its possible to achieve that as i travel 120km daily from home to work, 70pc highway 30pc city driving. smile.gif 5.4-5.8 is actually quite decent already for city driving.

I was told it was around that price as well for both the Jazz & CRZ, not sure its true or not but i hate to argue with the SA about this since i have absolutely no idea how much the original windscreen really cost.
*
that's true, Insight, Jazz and Crz same price for the windscreen as it is imported from Japan. Heard that next year the windscreen will be manufactured locally then the premium will drop. So please insure your windscreen, 5k is a huge price to pay smile.gif

Thanks for the batt tips.. smile.gif

I've just experienced the first battery fully charged with the jazz on the way down from Genting earlier today. Almost no throttle input just braking and downshifting. Can see the needle will show no charging when the battery is full even if you are braking... smile.gif

how was the experience going up genting? got struggle?

This rumours has been around right after JH was launched and it was later confirmed by one of the Honda SA. Initially the rumours was said to be from Thailand and now it seems plan has been changed to local.

The uncomfirmed details are its gonna be priced lower and spec lower as well.

My take on this is that i'm glad that i purchased the CBU unit from Japan.. smile.gif as for the resale value of our JH now, it depends how much the CKD is priced and what are the demand for used Hybrid cars in the future also whether used CBU JH will be a premium item.

Anyway I guess most of us bought this car out of certain passion for it and without giving it much thought on the resale value later.. smile.gif

Yes they will assemble it in Malaysia. However will take awhile la for them to shift a hybrid production line. Current production cannot assemble hybrid, will need to transfer technology.

Heard some news that the new Honda's, Honda Civic, Honda CR-V that is launching soon will have 5 years warranty and service interval of 10k km. Good news for new Honda owners, but for us it will still be 5k km intervals.

The New City as well.

Hi. I read from Insight forum also to press brake hard enough. Is this the expected behaviour?

Other than the ECU they also replaced for me entire transmission box. So I wonder is it because the box haven't warm up?

Added on June 26, 2012, 12:21 pm
Thanks for the assurance bro. So CVT behaviour is different from normal AT in this aspect?
*
yes this is the expected behavior, HA works when u step harder on the brake.

QUOTE(gid @ Jun 26 2012, 04:25 PM)
the Force we need to apply...
Answer:
One formula for force is Newton's Second Law of Motion: Force = Mass * Acceleration or F = ma

On the earth's surface, F=mg
where
F= weight
m= mass
g= acceleration due to gravity

In fact, force is the rate of change of momentum and is given by:
F = dp/dt

where p is momentum.
F = dp/dt can be expanded to F = v(dm/dt) + m(dv/dt)

where m is mass, v is velocity.
F = m(dv/dt) = ma. This is for constant mass.
F = v(dm/dt) is used when velocity is constant but mass is changing.
In Short, i think it is better to go in to the car and step on it biggrin.gif

haha good reply!

Thanks for all the helps. Will try it out.

Sorry ah, still learning about this car!

Oh ya, my SA friend tells me that using S gear will "disable" Auto Stop from engaging. Anyone can verify this? Especially during stop-go traffic jam situation, the Auto Stop gets quite annoying tongue.gif
*
haha, but this is one of the features of the car to save fuel no?
