If constantly off on off on at traffic jam is bad for your car and bad fuel saving. Eventually u r  using more fuel

The auto stop is designed to stop for a period of time. With Econ ON it stop for 90 seconds and Econ Off stop around 10 to 15 seconds. This function is good when stop at traffic light or at a turning junction. If u are caught in a heavy traffic that requires u to move 2 to 3 feet every few seconds and ur engine going off on off on, not only it consume more fuel, it is bad for ur engine mounting, gear box mounting and wear and tear parts. Now, why is honda hybrid cars are recommended to use no lesser than semi- syntactic oil and cant use mineral oil like the non hybrid honda cars use. It is to protect the wear and tear issue that honda hybrid generates more compare to non hybrid cars.

Why I said it consume more fuel, with frequently on off on off for example on off for 10 times within 10seconds and your car rev meter going from 0 to 800 or 1k for 10 times rather than staying at 600 rev give or take in 10 seconds. Technically you are revving your engine for the 10 seconds. Now how is that does not consume more fuel? Not to forget it drains the IMA battery quickly because it uses IMA battery to kick start the engine. Basically you are kick starting your car engine 10 times in 10 seconds. If that is not enough, I have tested myself with same journey, same traffic. It does make a big different. So my advice when u face this, shift the gear to (S) to disable the auto stop.

From your reply, I realized that you only aware that the Auto stop is the only feature in Honda IMA Hybrid for fuel efficient? There are more than that. The exterior, the aerodynamic shape of the car. Newly design engine and tuned for more fuel efficiency integrated with Econ mode guide and with IMA assist system. The car will perform fuel saving the minute you start driving. The ECU is automatically set IMA when to assist, to charge, drive only EV or EV and petrol together or petrol only.

frankly, the reason of having smaller rims is meant for hybric and to assist the owner to serve the purpose of having a hybrid car, i.e. lower fuel consumption. 

if the original car comes with bigger rim, spoiler, bodykits, it defeats purpose of the hybrid car

do u guys know when the nex generations jazz will be unveil?since current generation jazz is 5 years already in malaysia.im afraid that i regret buying the jazz hybrid since the new gen should be unveil soon and should be launch here mybe late next year
