Maybe you can try to check with Honda service center directly instead of checking with SA.

During cruising low speed or during traffic jam, after released accelerator(charging mode), sometimes the car lag of response when I press accelerator ,I have to press accelerator more to regain the acceleration and the car tend to sudden accelerate. I found quite dangerous sometimes as I might bang the car in front. Anybody face this problem?

Yes!!! Finally I got 4.2 from NKVE highway. And a 4.7 when I was driving yesterday in Petaling Jaya but that might increase due to lots of traffic lights.

better call the service center and check with them. Maybe you can try to call few service centers.

I think this is based on general CVT transmission problem. Both my cars are CVT and they both have this problem. Probability of occurrence is low for me. Another problem with CVT (I hv not faced it in Jazz hybrid yet) which is when you're crossing a road and you tekan suddenly for a quick crossie, the response is slower... and you tekan more it boost like crazy with a roar.

That is why i'm so caution to reverse out... wrongly tekan i might hit something/someone

Exactly what i'm facing right now.. I'm dont know bout that as this is my first CVT car. Yup, I also feel it response is lagging when i reverse the car, so I have to take a lil pre caution while stepping on gas sometimes especially during traffic jam. Thanks for the info bro.

IINM, That is called the rubberband effect.... sometimes can be dangerous.... just need to get used to it... common with CVT transmission...

well today i went to Nilai, avg driving on the highway was at 100kmh i guess, FC got down to 5.3l/100km, still cant beat u guys. well it will increase once i do town driving tmrw.

well, i want to change to the above jazz hybrid rims. what is that model called? how much? anyone?

I can get lowest 5.0L/100km, 80% highway 20% city, 90km/h. So far haven't make lower than that.

Anyone has installed the Illuminated Side Step Garnish? How much it cost for Honda jazz hybrid? Honda selling at RM600 and I feel very expensive. Any idea??

I noticed that there are many ppl who switch to neutral "N" gear when stopped at traffic light. Or even to "N" gear when coasting down hill. OR even "neutralling" at traffic jam. That will consume more petrol and it isn't helping to go green or hybrid.

I understand some old school manual tramission (MT) folks used to do that but that doesn't apply for AT/CVT

Anyone noticed that Jazz Hybrid will roll backward when the car is completely stopped and it happened when you switch from N gear to D gear.

Any idea why this will happen?
