how best if our Note can connect to a large NTFS portable hard disk like the powered normal 2.5" 500GB hard disk. I heard the Tab 7.7 can do so but why not our Note. Else it will be a perfect mobile storage for DSLR camera. No need those "tiny" and expensive thumb drives.

Coming from Nokia since 1999, Note is my 1st Samsung + Android phone.
Been loving it since the functions are more and I am free to configure it (rooting+mod).
One application that I missed from Nokia though, its the Ring Profile.

These are the contact profiles that I have in my previous nokia phone.

Family Profile
Co-Worker Profile
Friends Profile
Others Profile
Client Profiles

These are the ring profile that I configure :-

1. Generel - all contacts will ring
2. Meeting - only contacts in Co-Worker and Client Profile will rings, besides than that will be silent.
3. Friends & Family - only contacts in Friends and Family Profile will ring.
4. Night - Only contacts from Family Profile Ring.

My question is, how do i set this profile in android?
i can't any settings for it. Any app to solve this?

not possible in stock android. when i'm still with nokia, for the ring profile i oni set to silent+airplane mode from 12am to 8am, and normal profile on other time.


i missed the ringtone profile as well as off phone alarm function

It was the magnet case, cause of one extra useless magnet behind my casing,i cant draw in that particular area. Now i've changed to SGP case.. Lucky didnt go back to the shop and bird the seller..

My Last Nokia phone was Nokia 6670 and Nokia 7250 , after than I switch to Sony Ericson , My first android phone was S.E X8 root with Cynagen Mod ...after that fell in love with android ...but last few months...was force to get 4S ....but after 2 months i change my phone to G.Note ...... I LOVE IT!!!

But I miss the Nokia Profile
