each day feel like a month...

About a month plus to go. Ordered my through Qisahn.

But, while waiting, playing the emulator (mooege)...for fun at my pc.

So, I've fixed all the prob to get into beta, and started playing since about a week ago.

I understand its only beta, but based on beta production, I think I can give a few reviews from my experience.

From login screen, functionalities are perfectly placed and its utilized very well.

Character screen, pretty much like World of Warcraft, simplified and good for beginners.

Female barbarian is very ugly, lol.

Voice acting is quite terrible, in my opinion. Too scripted and not natural.

Classes, I've played each character through 3 playthroughs.

Found out the class I enjoy the most is Monk. Moves are action-packed, never left you with boredom of repetation. High mobilty, nice animations and impact sounds. The only downside of this class is that, regardless of what weapon your wield, it's still punch-pack attack animation.

My runner-up goes to Barbarian. A hard-hitter. Good splash damage and the variants of sword&shield, dual-wield and 2hander will make this class enjoyable. You will enjoy this class the moment you play (instead of leveling and obtain better skillsets)

My least favorite is Wizard. Probably in overall, it doesn't pack enough ummph to it. But again, this is just beta-opinion.

I found Demon Hunter to be a gear-dependable class. Early part of the game was not enjoyable to me. And without good gears, you won't be doing much damage(unlike others). But unique in a sense where you have 2 resources to use for your skills.

Witch Doctor is fine, good CC and DPS and if you don't mind being not-much-involved in the game due to your summons doing the ass-kickin', while you putting on CCs and debuffs, then this may be a great class to enjoy.

So these are my own experience's opinion. Don't bash me yea?

I think I'm going with the Wizard. Or Monk. Or DH, or WD, or Barb. Gah

My preferred character in beta is Monk as well. The attacks from Monk are more flashy than other classes which i like lol

Right, the flashiness and impact sounds, very mesmerized by it. But, without a gaming mouse, idk just how much the regular mouse will be tortured by monk moves haha.

But after out, i can feel the hype will die very fast cos it not really replayable.. unlike CS can play many yrs oso ppl wont jemu

I managed to get it work after 1.5 days. Problem with this is, there is no problem document...so you have to go through page-by-page in the forum and little try-here-and-there. Now it come with quest support, levelling is now can be save (so next time re-login, you can continue to play the saved character or create a new char).

Issues with emulator:
1. Not all skills are ready yet.I will say about 70% ++ skills for all characters can be use and animated yet. (wiki.mooege.org/Skills)
2. Those red orb healing stuff 'drop' from monsters....well it won't heal you.But is not a real issue as you can overcome it by some commands.
3. Some monsters don't attack, some yes. I just tested yesterday and did try to explore newer area (which is not open yet at Beta)

In general, the client* is still using the official Beta client from Blizzard. The only thing that need to add is:
a. custom d3 mooege wetwlly build (about 6MB)
b. microsoft visual c# tool/compiler
c. latest game patcher (to bypass the Bnet authentication) (about 40-50 KB)

So, basically we just adding a server* in my pc to fake the client it is connecting to actual BNet server.

So, if you got the HUGE beta client pre-installed before, you can setup easily and faster.

My main reason for this is, I just want to try to setup it, see it will work or not. If work, will play around just for fun before the actual launching day.

Sorry if this is newbie question. But where to buy the boxed version of Diablo 3 and how much is it?

Once you get the game, I assume you can play it offline as much as you want.

But what are the charges if you want to play online?

The game is ONLINE ONLY even for singleplayer.
There is no extra charge to play online other than your Internet & electric bill (or cafe charge if you play from one:P)
