I am on 4Mbps package. As I said before, having a 1M or 2M or 4M package will not make a difference in the ping. The ping is based on the quality of your network, not the bandwidth.

Think of it like this...
1Mbps line = 1" pipe
4Mbps line = 4" pipe
Ping = water pressure
Data = water

If the water pressure is low. Having a bigger pipe will not make the water flow any faster.

A lot of people have the wrong idea about network speed and quality. People keep thinking that the bigger your bandwidth the faster your network speed. This is the wrong concept, because the bigger your bandwidth, just means you have a bigger volume of data flow. It has nothing to do with network speed and quality. I don't really blame them as this is the Marketing done by almost all ISP.

Now for online games, bandwidth is never the issue. Your standard 384kbps will be sufficient for it, as most data packets from these games are very small. However if your upload SNR is terrible then you will have alot of lag issue, because your data packets will be lost and your game client will have to resent the packets.

Because of how D3 is programmed, you will not notice any lag, until around 500ms. See the video below for details on D3 and latency.

pvp not available, no one can comment. i was referring to coop, where you play with other friends, and they WILL do more pew pew than your monk

because you're reliant on spirit energy which is generated from your normal melee. if shit are dying before you reach them, or if you only can hit minimal amount (unable to perform a full combo chain) and they die, you cant get much spirit energy. and without spirit energy, you cant execute a good chunk of your skill sets lol.

and yea, before you're melee you take time to get to your target while range just pew pew. barbarian got a lot of skills for close ins, and they do not rely on combo'ing enemies for their fury. their ONLY down side is that fury depletes over time if you're no longer in combat, but that only encourages the barbarian to keep rushing/charging

the biggest problem of all is still the combo'ing and less spirit generation when not performing full combos

diablo III is MMORPG?

This is a super old game. Some shop might still have it. Am quite surprise you have yet to play this game bro.    Try it and I am sure you will like it. I played all character in this game already.

Come to think of it, i think buying a copy of Diablo 3 from europe might be safest choice, in case chinese gamers flood the US RMAH.

I need to wait 2 bloody weeks for the game though.

Feel like getting D2+expansion too.

Hopefully i can get it for $1 to $2 next week. One of the retail chains in Australia is closing down, so they are selling all their old games at really low prices.

I know it doesnt matter on which region do you buy from, just that, i want the cheapest price of the game. UK copies seems to be cheapest so far, with 52AUD. I am not gonna use RMAH, so that doesnt really matter.
My copy is set to Australian address, i guess it will be US RMAH then. Thanks for the clarification.

I am not even sure i can find any, as the information got leaked on the internet, like Uncharted 3 for 5AUD and Nintendo DSi for 20AUD. It is seriously dafuq prices so people gonna queue up there like its free. Then, whole lot of PC games like Arkham City, Saints Row 3, Rage and so on dropped to 15AUD. Even older games like Crysis 1 become 1AUD. Feels like April Fools joke la. How can it be so cheap?

I just tried Path of Exile open beta, another online game. The delay is extremely frustrating (ie. swapping gear from inventory take a sec or 2, looting chest takes similar time before items appear, etc). I also get dc every few minutes which is unplayable.
If Diablo 3 is similar, then it's basically unacceptable. I hope this is due to beta server problem and not my connection (based on TMNUT Streamyx 1MB)
