Kinda disappoint with the NFC. The function so limited. Cannot toggle 3G/Data.

QUOTE(hsyong @ Mar 20 2012, 09:50 PM) shatter proof =/= scratch proof. the sony shatter proof protector is hard to come by, and hard to take off. so just apply any SP on top of it, if scratch replace. hehehe...or buy exp one with anti scratch, minimal finger print one. now waiting for yeelin to go source. |

QUOTE(SpikeTwo @ Mar 20 2012, 09:53 PM) shatter proof =/= scratch proof. Yup, already followed this issue since X10, until Arc and now XPS, at XDA forum.the sony shatter proof protector is hard to come by, and hard to take off. so just apply any SP on top of it, if scratch replace. hehehe...or buy exp one with anti scratch, minimal finger print one. now waiting for yeelin to go source. Some remove the shatterproof sheet (yes, quite hard but can be done) and don't apply anything. Some just put the extra layer of screen protector. As for my experience (with Xperia Arc), the shop staff applied the SP in the box... so I ended up with TWO layers... the shatter proof sheet and the bundled SP. Then for my set, I felt that the touch sensitivity is not so good (sometimes when im swiping the home screens, it will accidentally open an app) I removed the SP and only leave on the shatterproof sheet and everything was fine. So, for the XPS, I'll just use as-is, later remove the shatterproof sheet and apply the free SP |

Ya lah if not mistaken cos u know lah SONY. the NFC would be useful for me when i step into office....i normally switch to another profile on my current phone when i reach office... My procedure is - take out the shatter proof cos that one is just a plain thin SP. and stick the one provided in the box. |

QUOTE(yeelin04 @ Mar 20 2012, 10:00 PM) Ya lah if not mistaken cos u know lah SONY. hmmm....so many confusing layers....i think i'll just stick to the original shatter proof to see how it goes....if not happy with it, then only stick on the bundled SP... My procedure is - take out the shatter proof cos that one is just a plain thin SP. and stick the one provided in the box. |
