why so rush to get ICS? haha...from the reviews, i can see sony did a good job on 2.3.7 GB. as long as they fix their software bugs i'm happy.

problem/bugs i've read:
1. XPS screen display a bit yellowish. the middle one is normal. all 3 are XPS. 2. battery cover workmanship. got gap. 3. after gaming/charging, the heat from the phone will make some part of the screen turn yellowish or with dots. didnt find any pic on this yet. so i guess you owners didnt meet any? else we would have lots of complains here. hehehe... QUOTE(Eugene91 @ Mar 10 2012, 11:02 AM) me too. i dont mind the cover gap as we can replace using the docomo japan cover. the software issues also no problem as sony will roll out with new firmwares. but this looks like panel issue. imagine yellowish white page. |

china_dude 02 this is not kopitiam.
ntdote: i dont know. but if users complain, how come sony havent make any moves to rectify the issue? it seems most users are keeping quiet. either they havent discover its flaws, or only those who complained have bad luck. i am hoping for the latter tho! |

now that I have another ques. LOL...will the yellowish grows with time...or it is yellow once they got it. i am looking for more info.
but most reports so far, it is either whole screen yellow from brand new set. Or, yellow dots start appearing once the phone heats up within 1~2 hours. charging or gaming can produce that. some "dots" will fade away when the phone gets cooler. additional note: the camera captures indoor under fluorescent lighting will get yellowish pics too. but that can be solved using white balance settings instead of auto mode. |

those screens i posted were not from XPS, but similar problem encountered by iphone users. from the pics, to me, they are quite obvious, that's why i am wondering how come no users here, or in XDA report the same issue. HK forums got a bit of complains too.
to be frank, i am very, very particular in graphics/screen display. that's why the previous sammy couldnt convince me to get one. low ppi pentile display, oversaturated amoled and the bluish/yellowish amoled tint are big no no for me. after i saw the XPS, i was like wow...this is something i'm waiting for. but the yellowish thingy really worries me. haha...
