QUOTE(digitalz @ Mar 16 2012, 04:20 PM) Read properly please. Telcos are different from the official retailers. Telcos are telcos. Some of the people wants to buy from Sony only. There's a big difference there. Read properly below please:KUALA LUMPUR: Sony Mobile Communications, a unit of Sony, today rolled out its brand new Xperia NXT series of smartphones, which will be an integrated part of the Sony's strategy to deliver connected entertainment experiences to consumers. "Our strategy is to ensure contents can be easily shared across multiple screens from computers, laptops, televisions to phones whether at home, in the office or on the go. "This is where we believe Sony, as an organisation, is a keen differentiator," said Head of South East Asia Market, Ola Lilja Molen. He said the newly-launched Xperia series, which combines three models -- Xperia S, Xperia P and Xperia U -- features an iconic design, including the "transparent element" encircling the base of the phone and illuminating when receiving calls, texts and notifications. "What can make Sony different is the unique user experience that comes from integrating our smartphones and tablets with Sony services and our library of movies, games and music," he told a media briefing today. Molen said the company was also partnering with local operators, namely Celcom, Maxis, DiGi and UMobile to introduce its Xperia series to the market. The Xperia S comes in black and white colours and is available through mobile operators tomorrow and will be sold in stores nationwide from March 21 at RM1,899 a unit. It comes with accessories worth RM534 for a limited time. The Xperia P and Xperia U are expected to be in the market in the second quarter. All phones are launched on android platform 2.3 (Gingerbread) and will be upgraded to android platform 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) in the second quarter. -- BERNAMA Read more: Sony rolls out Xperia NXT series - Latest - New Straits Times http://www.nst.com.my/latest/sony-rolls-ou...9#ixzz1pGaa8ewo |

My opinion is, if want to buy smart phone and use app messenging like whatspp, skype, line, viber or google+, then better connet your phone to Internet always. Else how u going to receive message offline? So, either on 3G or on wifi.

QUOTE(hexer_xavier @ Mar 18 2012, 06:49 PM) i'm using a lot of Gtalk, YM but did not ON my 3G all the time. Can use chat application without connect to internet? What u mean by gsm mode are more than sufficient?all those chat applications use only small bandwidth of data, so GSM mode are more than sufficient. plus, drop in Llama apps and schedule your online data switch. BAM! 30 hours for single charge. |
