No worries. Same goes to me (6-11 times). But I guess they will give you a call if they are interested in your profile. smile.gif

A few months ago, KPMG Malaysia told me that they retrieved my resume from the Jobstreet and they would like to invite me for an interview. However, when I look through my email and Jobstreet account, there are no notifications that tell me that any organizations have viewed me. I'm wondering why ... hmm.gif

apply via jobstreet...if the job advertisement got address and mail...mail the employer directly with resume and cover letter...that will increase the chances of getting a job...
priority application also is good for investment...it may increase ur chances of getting an interview...good luck

Really? mail the employer directly is better that apply through Jobstreet?

btw, if we already applied through Jobstreet, and the employer has viewed our resume for couple of times, but never called us, so shall we call them? and how to ask? blink.gif

my experience: view 2 times and not calling after a day is a not successful already

why: 1st time by recruiter, 2nd was the hiring manager

normally japanese company tends to have higher view count (more hierarchy approval)

It's not a good idea to call the employer directly...other ways of contacting the employer is via fax...just fax your resume and cover letter to the employer...other than that...you can subscribe priority application to increase your chances of getting interview through jobstreet...it works well for me...able to get 3 interviews per week...even get an interview with big companies such as BNM and PNB...just need to sacrifice a small sum of money...a little investment with unlimited returns rclxms.gif

Really?
with the technolody we have nowadays, still got people using fax for sending resume?
why not just email them?
via fax, anyone could read your resume as the fax machine usually on common area...
worst still if your resume have salary from previous company and other P&C information..

I never get any job interviews from jobstreet. I think have to pay for the priority application first.

A friend of mine have tried faxing resume to HR department...and it works...got interviews...email works better most of the time but there have been time where the HR department mailbox are full...it is lucky if you receive the failure delivery notice...otherwise you won't know that your application has not been delivered...

Previously,I've used email quite frequently...I mailed the HR department weekly to increase my chances of getting interview...and it works well...

from my experience, i got a lot of calls from headhunters via monster. but i notice jobstreet has the broadest client base, i.e. more quality jobs. jobsdb? forget it.

Profile views aren't indicators.

Even being interviewed isn't can't be taken as getting the job.

I was once interviewed 3 times by a company, but I didn't get the job.

I tried to cut and paste my resume into monster.com website....

The format is out and sentence become misaligned. For example, space btw two paragraph become no space in btw, bold become no bold etc.

Anyone has any idea how to fix it out? So that my profile looks more presentable. Seems to be very unuser friendlier.
