I assume you submitted your application through Maybank Bangsar branch ? Anyway, Maybank Bangsar is only responsible to forward your application to the Maybank credit card centre in Menara Maybank. If you have not heard anything from them, it is very likely that the your application form has gone missing it was never submitted I suggest you to call their customer care line to see if check your credit card application status. If it is not in the system, then it is most likely that your application form is gone and you have to do it all over again.

Confirmed it won't exceed RM50. Happened to me twice already...


For my case, i did not fully utilize the previous month weekend rebate quota but i did fully utilized the current month. The maximum rebate i got was only RM50.

Bro, He really is preventing me from buying a new tablet. I went to Maxis Centre this morning. Made up my mind to buy the new iPad bundled with 2GB 3G package last Friday evening. Done the calculations + with the new OCBC up to 10% extra rebate promotion, the savings is a lot and it is very worth it. I didn't want to buy it on Saturday as i have used up my June's weekend rebate quota. So i waited one more day but guess what ? They sold out both 16GB and 32GB version yesterday evening Going to Singapore this Tuesday afternoon for one week and i thought i can bring my new iPad along

Haha. I was going to get the 64GB new iPad when i was told the 32GB new iPad is sold out but then, i knew all along the 64GB version is overkill for me. No way i'm gonna need that much storage. I got sane in the last minute and decided not to go ahead Left my phone number to them. Will decide later if i still want to get it

Of course you can. But do bear in mind that sometimes, the payment is only posted one day later. So there is always a chance that your your weekend 5% cash back will be counted towards next month's.

Won't really work with Paypal as Paypal follows their HQ time in California.

They have indeed changed their policy. All cards send through Poslaju are now deactivated until the actual card holder has received the card and call-in to activate the card. This is one of the new steps taken to counter fraud. Same goes to replacement card. Credit card account will be blocked until the card holder has received his or her new replacement card.

No. It's not a scam. I received this SMS back in the middle of May and they have not published the list of winner until now. It is just Maybank being Maybank... Inefficient and slow
