hi h3llkeeper, is the Diablo 3 Sibera V2 headset the 7.1 surround sound like the Frost blue version 1? if it is, then its very worth it, cuz as u mentioned on sale now! :-) but not sure where to get it, hope heavyarm got sale.

it comes with 7.1 by default and there isnt anyway to change it to stereo

hmm so is it better to get the SIberia v2 frost blue or the D3 ver.? using it for games like DotA,LoL,FPS games and also skyping :-)
anyways guys I heard some of the reviews that the Siberia can be break easily? i've seen some pics of some users that their Siberia v2's are defected? and cant go for RMA? i always get bad luck when RMA... those b@stard$ sure wont let me change new unit even tho my peripherals are defected naturally.. haiz. anwyays back to the point, now im considering to spent on the Siberia v2 ( with the 7.1 surround sound and soundcard and the noise cancelling mic) i mean is it worth it? cuz its no small amount of money.. Rm450+!!

my sib v2 is basically 3yrs...only slack part is the earcups cannot be changed...its been peeling for quite awhile now and its pretty yucky looking already.

wow! what about the coating of the v2's? does it look new? or it's rusty? Damn! cant change earcups?

DotA LoL not necessary require 7.1 surround. but added virtualization is a definite plus
FPS is essential since you need to hear where the enemy is coming
RMA wise dun worry i can help you here. Of course must be within warranty period la and from local distributor

I heard many complains about the coating peeling off very easily, sound quality crap,mic quality crap eventho its noise cancelling?? actually i would only use the 7.1 sound for movies probably .. music also.. now thinking of getting the frost blue tho... but a lil' afraid to take the risk lol its OVER my budget but i could consider if its best of the best. its a new model right btw?

coating peeling? are you talking about the cushion or the ear cups?
if cushion then yes since its leather it is bound to peel. taking good care can prolong the life
ear cups no..i have yet to receive any complain bout it. Everdying's v2 is 3 years. So its normal i guess

Of course it is never meant to be an audiophile headphone. it is a gaming headset. The main function of it is giving you an edge in game and also a built in mic to chit chat instead of typing.
