it comes with 7.1 by default and there isnt anyway to change it to stereo
frost blue has the noise cancelling feature(microphone) d3 siberia dont
*
hey thanks for the reply! i mean if i had 7.1 why would i change it to stereo? lol, i just finished browsing this thread ( not literally) but i saw some previous post that u guys stated that the frost blue and d3 is COMPLETELY the same EXCEPT the LED colors?? im confused now yawn.gif

hmm so is it better to get the SIberia v2 frost blue or the D3 ver.? using it for games like DotA,LoL,FPS games and also skyping :-)
anyways guys I heard some of the reviews that the Siberia can be break easily? i've seen some pics of some users that their Siberia v2's are defected? and cant go for RMA? i always get bad luck when RMA... those b@stard$ sure wont let me change new unit even tho my peripherals are defected naturally.. haiz. anwyays back to the point, now im considering to spent on the Siberia v2 ( with the 7.1 surround sound and soundcard and the noise cancelling mic) i mean is it worth it? cuz its no small amount of money.. Rm450+!!

my sib v2 is basically 3yrs...only slack part is the earcups cannot be changed...its been peeling for quite awhile now and its pretty yucky looking already.
*
wow! what about the coating of the v2's? does it look new? or it's rusty? Damn! cant change earcups? sad.gif

Added on November 11, 2012, 5:42 pmanyways guys i feel a lil bit dissapointed compare the price of sib v2 frost blue in malaysia and amazon/US... it's like we're paying DOUBLE the money!! sad.gif but if i get it from amazon/US the warranty can be VERY VERY troublesome... sigh, i guess this is life sad.gif

DotA LoL not necessary require 7.1 surround. but added virtualization is a definite plus
FPS is essential since you need to hear where the enemy is coming
RMA wise dun worry i can help you here. Of course must be within warranty period la  laugh.gif and from local distributor
Good to hear 3 years. My neckband died 1+ year
got pic? wanna see how it become
Not really double, but more got  laugh.gif
Retail is 119
IF we follow
Euro 119=RM462.62+ shipping and tax is over ady
However
US 119=RM364.56+ shipping and tax is around that price.
Do consider the shipment fee back if got problem.

ya not really double sorry to exeggerate.. Anyways, how is the quality wise of the frost blue and also the durability and the sound quality? I heard many complains about the coating peeling off very easily, sound quality crap, mic quality crap eventho its noise cancelling?? rclxub.gif actually i would only use the 7.1 sound for movies probably biggrin.gif.. music also.. now thinking of getting the frost blue tho... but a lil' afraid to take the risk lol its OVER my budget but i could consider if its best of the best. its a new model right btw?

Thanks for all the replies guys! Everdying, now u got me into researching timat 2.2 == haha... damnn.. anyways, i just tested the logitech g35 ( not the sound) just the headset, the first thing im gonna say about the headset is that its very comfortable. Besides that, the thing that changes my mind on NOT getting the g35 is because, the demo unit looks so F**ked up! i mean yea its a demo of course its F**ked up! but it just makes it looks like its made out of cheap materials.. its like the current demo unit is like a futuristic idea already, its like u can already determine what the g35 will look like after probably 1 year? so yea.. anyways do i necessarily need a 7.1 surround headset? it sure sounds cool! but i just play games and a little bit of movies and also music..

hi guys planning to get a Navi Mouse Pad for my DA Black editioon ( so far so good) is it good? i already got qck mini and goliathus the small 1 i feel its too small size 4 me T_T last time i thought big size mats were ewww and gayy LOL.. but i mean in terms of quality is it good? cuz i bought the qck and the goliathus and honestly the quality of the goliathus is 5x better than the qck!!!

the qck is so friggin thin the material and my qck already torn ( lil bit) and i didnt even do anything harsh to it.. except washing it with water ( is that even harsh lol).. but the goliathus not a single scratch! so far so good and the goliathus feels more 'thicker' and more high quality... so yea.. but the navi mousepad is damn nice T__T

anyways my fren is getting a mouse and also mousepad his budget is Rm170.. is there any good mouse and pad for him? any brand which the mouse is comfotable / long lasting / good looking / great performance.. he has sweaty hands btw

Navi is 4mm thick. Same as goliathus
Washing will decrease the smoothness. I tried with my washed qck+ hon with another unwashed qck+ ehome. The hon one is more rough.
Rm170?
All I can recommend from steelseries is kinzu v2 and a qck mini
Long lasting get the glossy edition.
Maybe there is other brand out there which he like. Ask him to look for logitech also
*
heyy smile.gif do u recommend me getting the mousepad? it looks cool lah haha xD... even tho i already have the small size qck and goliathus -__-.. hmm i dun think he would like Optical mouse... logitech he was considering g400 + qck mousepad, but if he get g500 he is unable to afford a mousepad...

hey guys now trying to find a new mouse since my DA black dosent feel that comfortable to me... i hate the shape.. it just dosent feel right for me altho im a palm gripper.... i like shapes like the g400/g500/imperator.. so i wonder will any of SS mouse suit me? good sensor and comfortability.. usually only play dota2..

wanted to try ss sensei raw gloss ( since i have sweaty palms and the sensei is way too overpriced here in malaysia) but still unsure whether to get it or not... im afraid later same prob with my DA black again...
