normal upgrade using PCC won't remove any data or apps. whatever preinstalled that remove before will appear again.Sony XPERIA U™ and XPERIA P™Official Thread, Xperia™ Smartphone from Sony

QUOTE(wanttobuylaptop @ Sep 3 2012, 05:01 PM) b4 update the phone is snappy in everything. after update there is visible lag when switching home screen, like _ 0.5 sec lag. and not everytime animation will run smooth. not sure this will good for XPP or not but work well with XPS on 1st ICS update.contact took 1 sec to appear some apps also took longer to respond you need to remove everything on home screen... apps, shortcuts, widget... then restart... after that add again 1 by 1... in developer setting, tick force gpu rendering. |

I heard from Sony forum they advise keep it running for about 3 days after ICS update then battery life will increase... not sure if that works with your Xperia Pbattery life about same...seriously, the problem is with on screen time and our batt simply too small. Just a suggestion from Sony forumer that Android takes some time to optimize Battery... what i did was basically full charge, then let it drain to 0% then full single charge to 100% again for about 3 times. Here for your references. Sony forum about battery life Seems does improve batt life. buy may just be placebo effect |

QUOTE(lan_86 @ Sep 8 2012, 01:57 AM) guys i need some advice here... mine is AP set. Taiwan firmware. planning to get XP,but since my budget quite tight,i only afford to get AP set... any XP user here bought AP instead ORI set?are they giving you the same box content as ORI set?with original usb charging adapter, usb cable and headphone or cap ayam stuff? what about mini hdmi cable and nfc tags? thanks.. box contents are ori greenheart charger, ori usb cable, in ear headphones ( ori ones). No hdmi cable and no nfc tag. But to be safe, ask them to open up the box for you to check. I've seen a xperia U model that was provided with the livesound headset worth RM200+ which is a good bargain. |
