any source? i dont think 2 days is mildly possible...if normal usage include more than 1jr of screen time and 3g always on....

I read in the spec, Xperia U battery quit bad, 1320 mAh only. any comment from XU users? can last how long?

Xperia P ICS Update

I just updated mine but Does the battery drain alot?

you don't judge the battery's performance just by looking at the mAh
1320 is enough for U, because the novathor u8500 is a very energy efficient processor, utilizing cortex-A9 architecture.
hell even xperia P have only 1305 but still can last more than a day.
my xperia sola (same with U, 1320mAh and same hardware) can last more than 12 hours with 3G on, some games, youtube, texts and calls in between. With minimal use can last more than a day

thanks for the clarification sir. 1 more question. i never had experience owning a smartphone. what do you mean with 12 hours 3G on? i tot the 3G is always on, no? need to switch 3G off if not using internet?

you can turn on and off the 3G, and you can switch between 3G and WiFi.
you can set it always on, the only drawback is you'll get shorter battery life.
if want the battery last longer (or unable to charge phone for a period of time) i usually turn it off.
on or off, it's up to you.

and bear in mind unlike feature phone, one have to accept the fact that smartphones need to be charged at least once a day.

smartphone need a smartuser too... smartphone is not smart enough to switch off certain feature when not in use... like bluetooth or wifi.

A lots of small 3rd party software can do that.... you just need to find a suitable one.

Some example i use.
Auto Wifi OFF - no data then wifi is off
Bluetooth Auto Off - no connection after certain time, auto off or when switch off my handsfree, auto off.

u barely keep ur screen on, not much usage there.
i wonder why ur phone is still awake most of the time even screen is off?

i already said "minimal usage" can last more than a day
that's probably a bug... this result was achieved when on firmware 6.0.B.1.5xx (forget ady)

So far is there anyone successfully updated their Xperia P to ICS?

today run while gripping phone on hand, i fell down due to slippery simen walk way.
my xperia u was hammer down to floor & nothing crash, still following gps map.

when rest, found my hand keluar minor blood & bruises on leg & butt.. sakit

back home i snap pic of the day, camera working fine
taken with 3MP wide & some manual adjustment

My phone can detect my office wifi but not my home
Overall the phone is still very good.

My wife P got ICS thru PC companion just now. It the 4.0.4 version too.

Niceee! please review pro and cons after update ya! Most importantly battery life, Loud Speaker volume and stability... By the way I saw from Sony forum they said battery life improve for ICS after a few days of usage.. not sure if it is true...
