within 5 min i already get around 50 wake up on line apps as show in bbs alarm
anyone having the same problem too?
*
Wah, probably send feedback to developer? Seems like it's preventing your phone from going to sleep. Should leave it idle for an hour and see CPU spy stats

What app do you guys use to check "screen on" time?

Under the default Battery Usage I can't seem to find this screen on time info. Am I missing something?
*
Click on "display" under battery usage (default Android one), will show screen on time.

Alternatively better battery stats shows it as well under "other"

i had try searching for developer email few days ago but no luck
only written my review over there but no reply since then
*
Hmm better uninstall then, since low developer support. Tell your friends who use it to port to something else? Say viber (think this probably sucks batt oso, but alot more developer support so proly fixed oredi)

QUOTE(Wira_lover @ Feb 28 2012, 09:42 AM)
just wanna say thanks to the guys here in LYN and this thread.

i have succesfully rooted my phone, and the phone performs so much better. battery life is good, and for some reason, the screen, when i move left and right, it switches so much nice or smoother.

overall, im just glad i followed this thread. smile.gif i now know rooting is a MUST. hehe .next maybe ill try superROM V2. looks nice.
*
Haha welcome to the dark side. Now to flash custom kernels and thunderbolt scripts tongue.gif

yea line and viber i use most
but both sucking batter to the max
only line is the worst and viber so so only
i would say whatsapp is the best but it seems that we need to pay yearly for the service
*
Say only need to pay, I haven't paid yet so far. They always "extend" your subscription when due date is nearing laugh.gif

really?
since this is my first android phone never use on whatsapp before let's see mine will be extended or when near expiry
hope to get extend since this is one of my favourite apps
*
So far true for me smile.gif

But if really need to pay, I would. I use it alot, find the subscription worthwhile actually

Stock ROM is good. I'm on custom rom coz...well I personally don't know.

Custom ROMs are good for theme-ing really (I hardly do, which begs the question why I'm on custom ROM). And also, for certain custom features e.g. swipe to wipe notification ala ICS is available on latest turkbey and checkrom, which are both actually GB (maybe that's why I'm on custom rom laugh.gif)

Apart from that, as pikachu would say, you can gain the performance/battery improvements via kernels and scripts. Which come in much smaller packages laugh.gif

thanks for explanation bro..that pretty much clears it up for me  icon_rolleyes.gif

well i might just go with supeROM la..cause i saw the screenshots.looks yummy. hehe gives the phone some life.

but im a affraid of the custom scirpt, after laptopdude saying " IF YOU DARE" hehe

the randowm switch off issue, seems like many ppl having this prob too, normally when its in their the pockets, it might be the battery connection. im going to inspect the phone tonight when i meet my GF.
*
Yeah, new look will make you feel like you have a new device also laugh.gif

Don't worry too much about the "if you dare" part. Like everyone would say, these kinda flashing things are "do at your own risk", that's why he said that.

But if you follow instructions on the pages to the dot, you have like virtually non existent chance of screwing it up

thanks alot bro for putting me in the right direction.

I9100. G or non G doesnt matter right

Mattterssssss

Really, only flash non G stuff on non G, and G stuff on G. They both use different chips, so cannot mix and match

I find red pill gives me erratic battery graph.  rclxub.gif My batt can suck juice from the air. LOL.
*
Over long term observation? Probably attributed to usage pattern gua tongue.gif

3 - 4 days already using the kernel and still the graph have lots of tiny peak when using. Sometimes the batt will increase back in idle even when not charging.  doh.gif
*
Hmm I get the batt increasing on idle a well, but spike wise, not necessarily kernel related gua, hard to narrow down oso since over long period

I only get this kind of graph with red pill.  rclxub.gif

Added on February 28, 2012, 3:20 pm
Well it isn't really a problem cos i dun mind my batt recharging on its own.  tongue.gif
*
Haha battery % are not entirely 100% accurate ma. Esp once I was on 1%, after quite long using it went back up to 2%. Went back down to 1% after more use, and back up to 2% again. Finally next cycle it went down to 0 laugh.gif

Hmm entahla, I nvr use RedPill for long periods before
But could be coincidence lo, don't think RedPill prob gua. Shizuru oso nvr experience before

Probably because my graph always go down smoothly. First time i am getting erratic batt graph.

But dun get me wrong. I am not complaining. Just curious why its happening even after a few days of cycle. Redpill 1.3 i would say is the best kernel I have used so far.
*
Yeah I know it's your fav kernel laugh.gif

Tried phenomenal? Some are saying that's good as well

The Nokia 808 PureView, rumored to be a very good camera phone with 41megapixel camera.. hahaha silly tech..
a bit off topic but here's a readout about it..

*
Haha why silly tech, I'm pretty impressed by it. Would have considered if it were WP instead of Symbian tongue.gif

And in regards of quad, as I've mentioned before, not too fixated on it personally. Would be more interested in seeing 28nm duals rather than 45nm quads. Abit skeptical on real gains for quad as well unsure.gif

Hmm all these Tegra games cropping up are rather annoying, why limit the game to the processor >_>

Tegra 3 looking relatively attractive now tongue.gif
