guys..im having problem with sgs2.. i have this issue recently where battery drains like shit..3g is on always..fast dromancy is off..no idea why its like that..not the first time its happening..
*
The sudden dip because you rebooted or something?

Gonna be hard to help you with just that screen. Need the usage screen, and install better battery stats (can get for free from xda forums) and post the screenshots here. Can also install cpu spy to further help diagnose

SHIT..i plugged it in already..nvm...will do it again and upload pictures tomorrow..thanks guys..

No worries, just post BBS stuff here.

Just take screenies of the top ones (don't need scroll down n capture everything) of partial wakelocks. Can add the other screens (kernel wakelocks, other, process, alarms) as well if it's not too troublesome

If can post the screen that shows what's using ur phone batt as well (page before the screenshot you posted)
Edit : Oh you posted oredi lol

The more info the better smile.gif

Over how many hours is this?

You're using BBS that came with Lite'ning right? That's damn old, suggest updating from xda thread (download the apk for free there).

Juice defender is right up there, so you might wanna disable that and see how it goes

but juice defender is suppose to safe battery consumption isnt it?
*
Well yeah. I've never used it, but I guess YMMV.

Assuming it saves batt by cutting your line when you don't need it etc, if you turn your screen on frequently and it recognizes you need data and searches for it, that could drain more batt in comparison.

Just guessing here, since that's your highest wakelock The google services one could be anything, a little harder to track down.

Guess no harm turning it off and seeing if that helps. If it doesn't, update BBS, and maybe install CPU spy and we'll try to see what else we can see from your stats.

Added on February 29, 2012, 11:24 pmOn another note, this seems handy for those of us who are particular bout color and what nots tongue.gif

They could at least give a trial version or something for that price.
*
Agreed. Since they wanna showcase, at least give one that expires in x days.

To actually try for that price...

Better still, check out the permissions. I know with all the features some are needed, but still, who's to say no battery drain. Not gonna spend that kinda money to find out

Oh my,a 16 dollar app? Must be a pretty good launcher to carry that kinda price tag.  shocking.gif

Watch the video. It's good. Seems buttery smooth as well.

But no test period? With all those functions, what if there's something fundamental you don't like. RM50 is steep man. Guess it's ok if you actually do earn USD laugh.gif

Oh and apart from Neak 1.4, Siyah 2.6.13 is ready but he needs to clean up some stuff so should be out late today/tmrw morning. Coincidentally, both developers are releasing configuration apps. Siyah's one sounds more canggih though laugh.gif (Neak one nothing much one)

the problem not really the price, but only half and hour to really test it. what if it sucks and drain batt... you can't do nothing.

at least when u go redbox u can really get 3 hrs to sing.
*
Agreed. If I were given like 2 days to test it, could make a more informed decision. Even SPB Shell 3D had a testing period

Wah you the man la. Let us know later smile.gif

Yeah no swiping between screens, but the video looked so damn awesome. Curious to know why you refunded.

Review
*
Ah nice review. Picked up so many things in 10 mins thumbup.gif Think you hit home on alot of important points, definitely not taking this till they improve.
Any idea in that short time if you can change the default screen? Like how you hate the default screen having all the apps, can push that to the back?

Also, how to make call then? o.O No dock so find phone app? o.O

Appearance wise not much difference but i believe it will bring better performance
I see it running a leaked ICS on my g note. A great  difference in performance n saving in battery life. The whole phone has moved up several levels that it can even beat current sgs II gingerbread and even g nexus
*
You're running leaked ICS on your Note currently? Hmm performance up by so much? Doubt can see that much improvement in S2 though

A little off topic, for those digi SMART plan users, maxis is offering something not too much more, and without call commitments finally

Check it out
Rather tempted to change, seeing as how crappy Digi have been laugh.gif

Soyacincau news is a little slow, I saw that plan week ago.
Agree that the Internet Value 50 is more worthwhile than Digi 48.
However we still need to monitor our usage carefully, as they like to charge PAYU after quota reached.  unsure.gif
*
Yeah. But Digi after quota slows you down to ridiculous speeds, might as well don't use.

Personally I'm on the 68 bucks plan. And for extra 7 bucks a month, I won't mind. To me, even if they didn't give 3.5gb but 3gb, I would still consider it worth it based on their superior coverage.

Waiting for digi to respond hmm.gif If not I'm gonna hop over soon

QUOTE(MYstombox @ Mar 1 2012, 01:55 PM)
Digi cannot compare to maxis's speed and coverage.

My friend and his company all hopped over to digi, because maxis charged him for overseas roaming data.

So he got pissed and switched to digi, only to suffer from extremely poor reception and turn in your grave surfing speed.

ROFL...

On a side note, you can always install some app that helps you monitor your data usage.
And cut off your connectivity before u renew and add some quota.

And RM5 for 500mb is a real good deal. Considering how much data was initially.
*
Yeah, digi is just crappy. I know they're trying to upgrade, but they're just pissing off customers more with what it's further doing to coverage and what nots. Maxis picked the right time to introduce this laugh.gif

QUOTE(xsaintzx @ Mar 1 2012, 01:56 PM)
Pretty normal, only stock kernel will not have the yellow triangle.
Yes, Digi change the plan that they cut down the speed to 5kb/s which is really ridiculous.
I'm now trying umobile RM28 coverage for a month, afterwards might switch to either Digi or Maxis.
Maxis RM48 looks good but hate the contract term.  doh.gif
*
Yeah, considering to hop over to Maxis. Will probably go without contract and take the 50. Don't tether much these days so don't think I need 3.5
