What switch is Das keyboard using?

What makes it so special compared to other k/b?

Received the Num Pad today, tested it, Since I already have 3 different Cherry Switch keyboard, black blue and red, the green, clear, ergo clear, and brown is quite interesting, I think they decide the weight force of the switches with certain measurement, it doesn't feel right the weight force are not same with the general popular 4 color switches, personal feeling anyway. Other than that, this test actually cease my curiosity of moding a different weight forces keyboard, because it kinda felt awkward typing on a difference weight force key pad, not to mention to type on a whole keyboard? Maybe it felt different typing on a whole keyboard than just a 21keys keypad.  but I don't think the brown suit me neither, Again, maybe it will feel different if tried on a full keyboard, But I think I have decide that Red Switch suit me the most, and decide now to put the Steelseries Black Switch and the Filco Blue Switch to sale, if any one is interested, please let me know.

I'm thinking of buying a mechanical keyboard, but its more for typing. I want to type faster and maybe even feel nicer when typing.

I do occasionally play games so games too. Can the keyboard be less than 300? If not I can save money for more than it.

edit im thinking of the 6gv2 from steelseries. I'm thinking that mx black would be better, because if its too light I will get keys missclicked. I'm not quite sure never bought one.

Cheapest available should be CM Storm RapidFire... but since Cex is having promotion for Filco keyboards, you might as well as getting a Filco.

The room price start from RM300, it as a river view from some of the rooms, and some have a pool view.

So I post this image here, and will be passing down the Num Pad to next tester tomorrow.

Try to join the switch try numpad by kaiserreich as you probably had no idea on what to get.
Locally if less than 300, your best option should be CM Storm Quickfire Rapid.

I had the Das Ultimate Silent, it's brown switch, well.. it's pretty much one of the best brown switch keyboard that I've tested, and I'm starting to miss it now. Luckily this ducky didn't disappoint!

I know. Just got the prices from CEX and the Filcos are all so expensive.. The cheapest is the CM one and the board looks ugly on that keyboard. Argh if only I had more funds

the keyboard which i am pilot testing with now is a brown switch. The typing feel is abit different, keyboard is slim. the edge is about 20mm max, and overall height is around 27mm.
Each keyboard weight less than 1Kg (thanks to metal board less?)

This keyboard available in 4 MX switch type, which is MX BROWN, MX RED and MX BLUE. Price is estimate MAX around RM210 +/- like that

oh, and this KB is 6KRO via USB. (didn't managed to use PS/2 Dongle to try. Too lazy now:P)

the keycap thickness is around same compare to Ducky one, but way shorter. But i think it's ABS

we won't bring it in until we clean of the stock No harm la XD

In such contrast... Yes tis kb can KO keyboard at around this segment. Believe this will affect CM Rapid Fire as well. But i not too sure yet until someone who is experience enough to test it out...
