Paying that price to test the switches is always better than regretting after buying wrong switch. (applies to those who don't have nearby shops/friends to test)

QUOTE(ricstc @ Mar 1 2012, 03:58 PM) Just sent it out by registered post to the next in line (to Sabah) - unfortunately the poslaju service at the postoffice I went to was not available and since I didnt want to waste my journey to the postoffice I sent it via registered mail which is secure but may take an extra 4 days to reach Sabah from the Peninsula. aiyoyo~~ 4 days.. just on time for my pay roll to come, haha, for the next guy after me, definitely poslaju although im out town and the pos office is in townI will be writing my write up today with pictures too. Again thanks to you - we appreciate it much for this passaround |

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Mar 1 2012, 10:42 PM) The "Esc" and "~`" rows are R4 height, the "Tab" row is R3 height, the "Caps Lock" row is R2 height and the "Shift" and "Ctrl" row is R1 height. It apply for the whole row.BTW, even if they are called R1, R2 and so on. They still having different standard(in height/elevation especially) for different OEM and manufacturers. For example BWU's keycaps are taller compared to most other brands. Added on March 1, 2012, 9:56 pm QUOTE(axn992 @ Mar 1 2012, 10:49 PM) ohh icic, now i get it.. Most replacement keycaps can fit almost all brands perfectly, except that some will be either a little too low or too high(more than a little for Cherry/Noppoo).http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=9889985904 this one suitable for blackwidow and steelseries6gv2 anot? or u can recommend better ones. The problem with Blackwidow is hard(near to impossible) to find suitable replacement for the "Ctrl" row. The problem with SS7G on the other hand is harder(except those custom made for SS7G) to find the "Enter"/"Right Shift". This post has been edited by Human10: Mar 1 2012, 09:56 PM |

QUOTE(axn992 @ Mar 1 2012, 11:00 PM) so that u are saying that, the all the keys above the CTRL row for the blackwidow fits perfectly? accept for the last row? The keys should fit Blackwidow(a little lower than original height). The last row can't fit because the last row is using a odd layout which not much OEM go for, thus no ppl make replacement for it.the ss6gv2 enter and right shift button not suitable? For SS, it is the having a rare(in term of what normally found on others) size for "Enter" or "Shift". |

Added on March 1, 2012, 10:50 pmYo dawg, I heard you like over-branded stuffs so I(CoolerMaster) made another overbranded stuff so you can carry your overbranded keyboard with a overbranded keyboard bag. http://cmstore.coolermaster-usa.com/produc...products_id=772 This post has been edited by Human10: Mar 1 2012, 10:50 PM |
