I'm thinking of getting a cheap one first, to see how it feels.
Thinking of either brown switch since it has no noise feedback.
Might be using it at the office.

If you're going to test water 1st, try PLUM tongue.gif
can get for less than 200 for a red switch board like mine

There is no need to get a cheap one first la, since the feeling are somehow different also,
and after you tried, you are going to get those expensive one eventually, and those cheap one is harder to find a buyer somehow,
so get yourself a premium one directly, and you won't be attract by any other that the spec are below it.

Go for Topre! and then no one can temp you with any other poison any more!

Whoa, poisioning me to get topre for my first mecha keyboard.
Was thinking something like filco or leopold.
The custom keycaps, blank keycaps all looks very very tempting.

Need to learn touch type faster to make the purchase worth it.

That's why I signed up for the testing.
Wanna see which switch fits the bill.
Only after that I'll be making my initial purchase.

Now that I got one that suit me best so far,
I m selling off other, and targeting a Topre if possible.

lol get from me my filco if you want, the price are pretty low T_T cry.gif
I got it just before the price go down, so My lost are your gain.

I am planning to sell off my Steelseries also, soon will make a new tread for it.

IMO, getting 2nd hand keyboard is best,
I would get one myself if there is some one selling one,
but I didn't got the chance, sadly.

Would've bought yours but:

1. No budget currently.
2. Not decided to buy which switch type

=___=|||
they claim that blue switch are loud, for me I felt it is loud too, I think it's when bottoming out the keycaps, the key punch the steel board, or the top of the switch made most of its noises, not the clicky sound that is noisy....

Because after I type on it with O-rings even bottoming out, the key punch sound are generally gone, only the clicky sound remain, and the clicky feeling are still the same.

What do other blue switch users think? Anyone uses Blue switch with O-rings care to share their experience?

found this:
