BWU has its famous quality control issue and performance wise a filco/leopold/ducky easily outperforms it, from what I heard.Mechanical Keyboard Club V5, For Gamers and Typist Enthusiasts

QUOTE(JeffreyYap @ Apr 11 2012, 07:24 PM) How about Black Widow stealth ultimate? Razer Blackwidow has 2 switches, the one you seeing are using Brown switch, tactile.see the technology, http://www.razerzone.com/minisite/blackwid...nical_keyboards While the original one is Blue switch, tactile + clicky. It's better you read up about mechanical keyboard before you proceed which to choose tho, and yes Razer Blackwidow has a lot of problem, youtube to know more about it, but of course, if you're lucky enough, you may get something that might just near perfect. |

QUOTE(JeffreyYap @ Apr 11 2012, 07:24 PM) How about Black Widow stealth ultimate? Why buy it where there is better and cheaper option out there? see the technology, http://www.razerzone.com/minisite/blackwid...nical_keyboards Added on April 11, 2012, 8:41 pm QUOTE(JeffreyYap @ Apr 11 2012, 08:22 PM) Ya i thought the price same as Ultimate, the "stealth" is over budget... Corsair K60, even more overpriced in Malaysia(in US it cost only 80USD, which is around RM250 only...)Corsair K60? Added on April 11, 2012, 8:25 pmor CM Storm Trigger? BTW, Corsair K60 doesn't get much attraction here because we hate it as it is a mechanical mix rubber dome keyboard... CM Storm Trigger, just being launched not too long ago. Probably will take another few more months to reach Malaysia judging based on last time the time for CM Storm Quickfire to enter Malaysia. BTW, that keyboard still lack of enough information for us to decide if it is a good buy. The basic part is that it is made and designed and marketed as GAMING KEYBOARD(1000hz polling rate, 6 anti-ghosting(we call 6KRO here), braided cable, rubberised bla bla bla). The remaining part is that we are currently unsure who is the OEM(maker) of the keyboard. There is 2 rumors out there, some said iOne(same manufacturer with Razer BW) and some said Costar(the one who made FILCO and CM Storm Quickfire). Costar >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>(better than) iOne This post has been edited by Human10: Apr 11 2012, 08:45 PM |

I'd suggest JefferyYap to stick with Filco/Leopold/Ducky if he wants something reliable, these 3 brands are the one who focused mainly on keyboard (i mean if you're looking for local set), whereas Corsair/Coolermaster(CM Storm)/Razer/Steelseries focus on a lot of products at once.

QUOTE(sulfuriq @ Apr 11 2012, 09:58 PM) Hmmm kindda suit for me the layout, not fancy but what is the BIGASS layout? The steelseries 6gv2 or the 7G? To be honest, the 6Gv2 is good enough. Unlike the 7G, it is smaller, minus the wrist rest but in terms of quality, it is really durable. I really liked it, used for almost a year until I switched to Ducky, the layout is probably different from other mechanical keyboards out there. But if you like a durable and long lasting keyboard, the 6Gv2 is a good bet. The only flaw is the laser printed key caps, which will fade after a few weeks of usage. Wont fade completely but just not as bright as before. |

Both, the "Enter" key is BIG reversed "L" instead of normal "-" we met on most local keyboards.Accompanied by it, SS7G is having a small Backspace while 6GV2 is having a shorter right shift(and it can be affecting your input as you most probably get used to "?" key directly beside Shift). Well actually the BIG Enter L is the normal one during IBM as the mainstream pc and I like it, kindda bring back the memories. But in term of reliability and durability, this mechanical keyboard is among the top notch.

seriously? IMO, IBM mainly uses US ANSI layout (pictured above) rather than BigAsian Enter layout... it's being ages...
