How can you compare blackberry mail function with the Note or any other phone. Blackberry is unique because of its strong email push ability. No other phone whether IOS, Symbian, Android can ever match this Blackberry feature which is their main selling point. Blackberry has its own server to push emails and every month you need to pay for the BIS service
If you want mails to be push frequently to you, I suggest you use the free app K9-mail where you can set mail checking even every minute, or 5 mins or 10 mins or even several hours as you wish

Each has its own issues. Depend on how serious you view it. I have tested rocket, criskelo, midnote n original chinese leak. Did not test those aopk tyoes as they lack spen functions
I would recommend midnote 2. I would say is stable n practically free of major issues
I would also suggest you change baseband to LB1 to avoid SOD issues

uncle benny, ICS can support LB1 baseband? i thought is for GB only..

How's the battery drainage and temperature? Previously I used franco kernel #8 with substancer LA6 but it did give me some screen freeze and also it takes around 2-3 mins to boot into cwm recovery mode. The AbyssNote 4.2  kernel didn't have this kinda problem but battery drainage is abit higher then franco kernel #8.

most probably they wont change for your while u use it for 3 month already . The only things you can do is , sent back to samsung service centre & ask them to fix for you .

do you have any case? sometimes could be the case pushing the power button and then you accidentally press OK.

i do encounter it on my phone a few times since i got my Note (a few mths back). but let it be la... not that often. and i consider it as a reboot to clear cache, etc...

usually the shut down is when i put in my pocket. not when i'm halfway using.
