about ICS giving the Note a smooth experience. i really do hope so. coz i find Note experience to be not as good when compared to SGS2.

also... GPS should be under what? WAZE is good... especially with Note's big screen.

free and got voice navigation. only issue is... requires data (3g).

for HD games... Zenonia 4.

i faced this as well... very likely a faulty USB charger/ cable.

i've yet to send my unit to service centre. but what i did was just use another pair of usb cable. no such issue after that. i actually shared the exact same thing in the previous version of this topic. but my case... i noticed the driving mode thingy happens only when i was charging. so i used another USB cable (from the sgs2) and it's ok after that.

mine also stock. looks like your case even more severe. mine... i guess can still use. so i take my time to go service centre. my visits to the service centre next to federal highway has not been pleasant at all. super long wait (last visit, i left without seeing the service ppl coz 20 numbers ahead of me and it was moving at 15mins per number).

some members asked me to try the one near Berjaya Times Square instead.

something like dropbox... online storage and sharing... android users get 50GB... offer valid for signup before march 2x (twenty something)...

can check their apps in market. it's called... box.

if you read the description. box explained that the read contacts permission is needed so you can set the security settings for file sharing <-- to see who can access the files you wanna share out.

disclaimer: i have yet to install box.

so me... what i suggest -- in office, plug into usb and charge via computer. unplug only if you need to leave your desk. at home, plus into wall and leave it charging. unplug only when you need to leave house...

so, can be like what sklchan said earlier... better to leave at full charge.

sheesh... just realised i din remove the plastic over the camera lens... no wonder the photos din come out that nicely lately... maybe plastic getting dirty... lol...

yes... supposed to be. its the plastic used to wrap the phone and edges when you first get it. seems when i removed the plastic from the phone, i left out the one covering the camera lens.

do you have any case? sometimes could be the case pushing the power button and then you accidentally press OK.

i do encounter it on my phone a few times since i got my Note (a few mths back). but let it be la... not that often. and i consider it as a reboot to clear cache, etc...

usually the shut down is when i put in my pocket. not when i'm halfway using.

ya... anyway, i plan to make a visit to the SC @ Berjaya (or that area)... since the defects are not critical and hard to replicate, just going to find the right time.

my last few visits to the one next to federal highway had not been fruitful -- the 1 time i spoke to the CS person, they said it was normal. other times... just walked away coz too long queue.

stock ICS on Note?!?

this image has gotten some attention and excitement... but of course, all are still just speculations.

how many are excited about the official ICS for our Note? i've read about how ICS is not giving a good experience on Asus Transformer. wondering how is it with those on sgs2 in EU that's already getting ICS. hope its not a disappointment...
