Of course there is a lot of diff in terms of performance, hardware & soon ICS. But i think u shud not post this question in this thread.

Need your opinion... i'm planning to get my 1st Tab soon....
Still donno which to choose between GT7+ or GT7.7...
Survey market price GT7+ around RM1400, GT7.7 almost RM2k...

Is it really worth to spend extra 600+ to get GT7.7 instead GT7+????
Any huge difference in specs & performance???

Just wan 2 know your opinion since maybe some of u guys upgrade from GT7+ to GT7.7 before....

personally, as a designer. its about screen resolution to me.. eye candy...
the nexus is another such device till later phones to be launched..
ala retina bla bla..

but having said that, i find that the words are rather small for my old eyes...

till the ipad 3, the next highest reolution was this 7.7 which crammed 1280x800 into 7.7 inches..
before, this resolution belonged to the 10 incher..

specs, not too sure but i dont really think it'll way too far off..
like,, it runs android right? lol..

how it runs android and the rest like for me, the resolutions, its basically esoteric..
whether its justifiable for the price difference, u decide with your wallet..

edit: sorry to sound snobbish or some like, just intend to illuminate rather than subjugate.

Galaxy Tab 2 with ICS - this April. 

it worth i think if u fully utilized the functionality given.. IF u just want to use as a phone, sms, mms, checking FB/ twitter and some email.. than gt7+ will do fine..

if me, the beauty of the screen, the battery life, smoothness of the os, quality build of the body, super slim body.etc etc already make me choose 7.7.. but like other say, if u think GT7+ is good enough, then u better don't look at 7.7..the first eyes look at the screen, i only can say beautiful colour.. but some ppl claim that it is not natural any more.. so depend how ppl like it... battery life? normal usage can last me like 2 days..this is the longest battery life which i ever used for an android device..  watching movie at night after off the light, really superb with super amoled screen.. better go test both device then see which one u like more before u decide.. i din regret to choose 7.7 compare to other tab..cos i mostly use it to watch movie, surfing and check mail..so screen is important to me

Juz bought my self 7.7 yesterday.hehe.juz quick question by using uncle benny root procedure did i need to install the clock mod recovery also? I need to root mine so that i can use titanium backup n recover all my apps form older 7in tab.

No CWM required if only Titanium backup...
CWM is only needed for NANDROID backup which you use before messing system files/flashing custom roms

You are right. I poisoned by the colors and the build material + the FREE BOOK CASE worth RM200++ from celcom. End up i sign the package.

I owned iPad2 before. I can say. this tab 7.7 is good. 7+?. value for money

why it always ask me to insert sim card...
the sim was there..??
should i change the sim card or device got faulty??

just take out the simcard and rub the gold contact with eraser... it should solve the tiny problem...

In that case, i suggest u go to the the nearest celcom center and book for a tab. Yeap.. Mine is ready stock. Beside, the telco dillema is depend on ur most stayin area. I am sure the other telco should be no prob in ur area if digi line is worst. And both of them offer packages as low as rm48 per month. In term of device's price there is not much different.

I nvr had an ipad but i have an iphone and other android phone. To be honest, i love my android phone more than iphone. U can fully customize the widget. If u dont mind seeing the same boring icon widget everyday, u can take the ipad. And googling around u could find tons of reason why tab is better than ipad.

In public? I dont hv problem carrying around a 7 inch rather than 10 inch tablet. There are 1 or 2 of pant even fit with this baby. But most of the time im carrying it. I dont used blutooth as im comfortable with it.

I think this baby should get the marketing gimmick, "table? Phone?" and not galaxy note. Coz note is still a phone size in my point of view.

Note too freaky huge for phone lar...in fact...the S2 size is really the max for me, any bigger don't make sense for a phone. But seems like new quad core phones even bigger...4.7" for HTC ONE X and maybe S3....sigh...WTF....
