QUOTE(Tuyin @ Feb 27 2012, 07:08 PM) What standard? If camera, so far, I think there's still none that is better than N8. Others may fare better in terms of usability and features, but quality and detail, it's still N8. Now they just step more further away, lol. |

Yea camera they set a very challenging standard for others to chase like i expected even todate the Nokia N8 is still unbeatable. Now with Pureview 808 the limits is even further.

Anyone know whether N9 is ipv6 ready?
Added on February 27, 2012, 10:11 pmI'm sure by now people already have Nokia 808,Lumia 900,SGS III,iPhone 5 etc2 in their mind as their next device. Unlike these majority of people I'll just get N9 observe how things goes with with all the mobile players till end of this year. The thing I'm most looking forward for my next device is continuous software support.Majority of manufacturers can keep up with the hardware spec but flunked hard when it comes to software support.Even flagship devices abandoned after just few months. From what I see it seems like only Pure Google devices,Symbian (surprise2),MeeGo(even bigger surprise) & iOS receiving proper software support. But I have to say iOS software support is by far the best. That's why Google Nexus also have similar treatment albeit not as good as iOS. Symbian I think only for Nokia, for non-Nokia, I'm not sure, but for old Nokia devices, I don't think got anymore updates; but as long as it's stable should be good enough. Only for newer/modern smartphone OS where there's integrated features/services (e.g. Maemo/MeeGo/WP/Android), will be nice to have continuous updates to keep up to date for the latest features, they can actually try to make it easy for 3rd party to add in so that even if they stop supporting/providing updates, 3rd party can provide them (e.g. Maemo Plugins for Social Networks Integration; Not sure can be done for MeeGo, if yes, maybe someone can add plugins for MSN, Yahoo, etc). |

Came back when I saw the N9 fan club site announce P.R. 1.2. Wow so fast come, feels like just yesterday got the PR 1.1. The baby still works pretty nicely but havent caught up with the latest stuff This post has been edited by eaglehelang: Feb 27 2012, 11:21 PM |
