QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Feb 27 2012, 11:22 PM) welcome back now ppl craze over Nokia Pureview 808 Yeah, I just saw previous page you posted the vid. So terror one., when supposed released? I'm back in joining the 'waiting for PR 1.2' gang , though I'm happy with the 1.1. Saw some members just bought their N9, not bad this little fellow, still got people interested to buy other than us 'crazy' 1st batch people. Lol you all. Same as Nebousuke, this PR 1.2 is not exciting for me as the PR 1.1, this one more minor. Lazy to re-install & re-copy some of the stuff if reflash. Will wait out the OTA this time

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Feb 28 2012, 09:53 PM) Nokia Pureview 808 is too much camera for a phone. If you are really serious about photography you would have a DSLR anyway. It has its purposes, if one looks at it as a good camera that can make calls. And can bring into sports venues that disallow cameras, then can tell the security "This one not camera leh, is phone, must bring in, if got emergency need make call how?' Cameras in current smartphones sucks in taking moving pictures Btw Kenny, you also got the 64GB right? Eagle getting old, forgot liao who got which version This post has been edited by eaglehelang: Feb 28 2012, 10:05 PM

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Feb 28 2012, 10:01 PM) Same here. I'm not going to re-install all my apps, set up all my accounts, lose all my bookmarks and lose my game save levels just to get PR1.2 a little earlier. Oh games, yeah, forgot that part. Last time, during PR 1.1, our phones were still rather new, didnt install or copy over that much stuff yet. Now have more stuff, really feel lazy to reflash

Aspire, agree with you on the DLSR not going certain places. Yeah, some venues dont allow DLSR cameras to be brought in if no media pass, need to leave outside. Security will check thoroughly, in case got bom, lol

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Feb 28 2012, 10:25 PM) Yeah, I got a 64GB N9. If anyone is thinking of using a camera phone for sporting events, I think you'll be disappointed. There are certain situations where there is no substitute for a DSLR. As stated, sometimes no choice, cameras not allowed in without media pass, esp DLSR. Point & Shoot camera can put in pocket, provided security dont do body check. Some places Point & Shoot also not allowed, they check. All this happened before ya including in more 'liberal' countries like Europe. The most strict I've heard is India, mineral water bottle also cannot bring in, in case got liquid bom. QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Feb 28 2012, 10:24 PM) yeah like doing photoshoot especially in malls when u take out DSLR the guards will chase you in circles but with a phone they dont disturb u. They said need permission la this la that la but handphone no need HAHAHA. The tiring part different shot need different lens so end up very tiring haha. Certain event said no camera but mobile phone most places it can go. Wah, KL so strict? Melaka often got groups of photography students walking around in shopping centre with DSLR taking photos. No problem as long as dont disturb other people. This PR 1.2 supposed update the camera functions, let sifu test out 1st

Tried the continous shutter. Not bad, fast and clear, as long as hand dont shake. Can move it around the room also. Considering my photography taking skills is so so,this will compensate. More pro description of course wait for sifu aspire's pics.
