WiFi card installed. Works great on default Windows drivers.

I plan to strip out the third antenna from the Fuji and add it into the top of the screen - the bezel where the camera is located.

At the same time, remove the camera and mic from in there. I don't like having a camera spying on me without my express permission.

Seems like way too many games and applications turn the camera on and then don't turn it off.

Hey guys I plan to get a new laptop soon, which series should I go for? I will mainly use it for assignments and multitasking (Skype + work). I watch HD movies and sometimes play games ( League of Legends, Starcraft 2, borderlands 2 etc.) Thanks!

Actually no much to worry about.
All you need to do, is to ensure there are driver for Windows 7 that you can download from internet, especially you have Dedicated Graphic Card, the rest should be those Audio Driver, Wifi, Bluetooth, etc. Best is to use Windows Update (not forget to untick the genuine update if you are not genuine) brows.gif

Windows 7 are stable OS so no worry. If you know how to format Windows 7 then there should not be a problem for you.

I think I just something similar issue you post. Windows 8 CD Key is in the BIOS. So when reformating into Windows 7 need something to overide that thing, not confirm about this since I'm still using Windows 7. But future might buy a Windows 8, so no comments about it. :/

Hello guys!

My core temperature has been 70Celcius and above lately. May i know if the thermal paste is wearing out? And anyone has a step by step guide to replace thermal paste on an A42JA?

Guys, I need real help here. I had this N55s for almost a year. Recently, the laptop seems to heat up very fast, especially during game time. (played World of Tanks) and when the laptop heats up the fps drops to single digits. Furthermore, sometimes after closing the game, the screen flickers for some time. It usually gets back to normal after some time. This stuff happened before but right now it has gotten more frequent and the flickering time is longer.

What's wrong? Is the graphic card the problem? Or is it the thermal paste? Should I update the graphic driver or something?

Attached is a pic of the temp and fanspeed during normal case, in which no heavy programs is running.
Thanks for any help smile.gif
