Not really near but the same direction. From Mini Mini Land, we passed by Seoryani Forest Path also.

The map show highway and kampung road. With that map you can actually agak2 how to drive when you use the normal road instead of the highway. The map I got from KTO Jeju Tourism Organisation during MATTA Fair is very good. Very details. Not sure if is the same one from Jeju airport.

MATTA Fair coming in August/Sept. I am waiting for MATTA Fair also. To collect some brochure/map on NZ. Plan to visit NZ March 2013.

Coach is cheaper in Hong Kong. I forgot the shop name but it is in Lantau Island. If go to Disney HK, the train stop at this mall station also.

erm...i though Nov is Autumn ??

Me and my family were planning a year-end trip and we thought of Korea as a possible destination.
The probable departure date would be around Christmas (meaning the last week of Dec) and the trip duration would most probably be around 7~8 days.
So I know it's gonna be winter and it's gonna be pretty cold. Two questions come to mind:

1. Is it recommended to go Korea during this period of time if we don't plan on skiing?
2. How cold is it really and is it bearable enough to enjoy the trip?

My family consists of both my parents (45+), 2 siblings (18~20) and myself (20+) 
I'm living in Melbourne so I am quite used to cold weather, although nothing as extreme as Korean winters and my sibling is living in Japan so he should be quite used to the winter there.

1. Is RM1k enough for 4D3N inclusive of Air Asia flight tickets, accommodation, food and shopping?

2. Are there sakura blossoms in Seoul? Which are the best spots and time of sakura watching?

3. Did you use a travel guide or phrase book to get around?

Would like to ask has anyone went to korea covered jeju, seoul and busan? What is yr first, second and last destination? What mode of transport u guys used? How many days to cover these places? FYI I'm going for 10 days and planning 2nights at jeju busan 1nite and the rest at seoul. If got time will tour dmz as well.
