I just apply IDP (International Driving Permit) last week, and do not need to surrender my Malaysian License. So you can still keep your normal license together with the IDP. Very easy to apply. Just bring 1 passport photo, copy of IC and License, IDP form and RM150.

Going to drive left hand drive car next month  sweat.gif

nope, the officer didnt ask anything.. i went to JPJ Wangsa Maju just before 9am, and there is just a few person inside.. take my no and my no is just after the display no.. wait about 10mins, and my no call out.. give everything required to the officer, she key in a few thing, took the IDP card and fill in and chop everything, sign here and there and finally sign their IDP receiver book.. everything done, i think in 15mins.. also dont forget to bring your real IC and license, since you need to do some biometric verification..

maybe we can meet in korea next month  icon_rolleyes.gif

You use your credit card to book online but they only charge you when you exchange them for the actual tickets at the counter.
Does that make sense?
*
means they only reserve the seat for u n when i redeem on the spot, they only charge it to my CC? would like to know if i dunwan to purchase on9, can i purchase it on the spot? is there any chance there is no more seat available? i plan to buy ITX

QUOTE(anechoic @ Mar 20 2013, 10:49 AM)
you should re-read their car rental instructions.

There is car rental counters at airport, if you rent from Kumho go to their counter.. If you rent in Jeju, from Jeju airport, there is counter and guide to help you take their bus to their rental place and take the car..

i know we can haf an option to select the LDW. there is 2 option to select (full immunity & 300,000 krw). actually which one to select and what is the difference? i read on their webpage stated that when we rent the car, we are covered on insurance & accident. so LDW is an extra option? btw, it's necessary to purchase together? i'm kinda confuse on this. rclxub.gif
