HyperSnap or SnagIt should be able to do it.

Is there any software that can detect my WAN IP changes and notify me through popup or balloon tips ? My connection is not very stable, so I want to know when it got disconnected without looking at the modem LED. BTW, I also use router.

1) Not quite sure what u mean, but when you use the "On resume, password protect" option, I think the background processes are still running just that you can't get back to the screen if you don't know the password.

2) Have you tried using netlimiter to cap browsing speed in IE ?

To add on to what samurai1337 has said, just use Windows logo key + L to lock your Windows session. Just set a password for your user account.

Send an email to the show producers. I'm sure they would happy to let you know that they would be happy to enlighten you that it's a TV show.

Don't think you need any third party software for it
Windows Task Manager should be able to do the job

I guess that would be MS Outlook. Alternatively, you could try Mozilla Calendar/Sunbird + Mozilla Thunderbird or the Mozilla Suite.

I guess Limewire is not too bad
Spyware free and pretty large user base
