Not great performance, although we defended well. 3 well taken goals. Young have end product, but he needs to get back his early season form. And what happened to Nani? Where are your balls? Transferred to Valencia ka?

No doubt that the Spurs trio not playing contribute to our winning. Lennon alone also enough to cause trouble to the defence, can't imagine Bale at the left, VDV at the middle and Lennon at right, surely every Spurs attack will give MU fans heart attack. But we converted our chances into goals and thanks De Gea for those saves as well. For the disallow goal, so obvious is handball. ABU really is ABU, just plain complain. Obvious diving then say is penalty, obvious handball then say we buy referee This post has been edited by beck_ken: Mar 5 2012, 02:20 AM

QUOTE Sir Alex Ferguson on Manchester United's 3-1 win over Tottenham: "We needed the second goal to get some cohesion in the game. It was a miracle that we went in at half-time 1-0 ahead. But the second goal killed it for Tottenham. The third goal was tremendous - no keeper would have saved that."
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp:
"I thought we were outstanding for 65 minutes. We bossed the game and how we came in 1-0 down at half-time, I couldn't believe it. It was soul destroying. "They are a great side but we made them look ordinary. We pressed them in midfield and stopped them from playing. We dominated them. "Brad Friedel hasn't had to make a save but we've conceded three goals. They got the breaks. I couldn't fault the efforts of our players. The first two goals we didn't pick people up and it's basic."
On the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas:
"It's a shame for the lad losing his job, you don't want to see anyone do that. He'll bounce back, it won't be the end of his career. He's got many many years in him yet."
Sir Alex Ferguson on Andre Villas-Boas's dismissal: "The lad's been under pressure but what you need in this job is time. His record at Porto shows he has got potential. But Chelsea was a big ask." BBC Sport

Rio was rock solid at the back with countless clearances! The only thing he didn't do is deflect Defoe's shot. A great win nevertheless. Grinding out 3 points out of each game is the mission now!!
