Before the Norwich's goal I was gonna say that De Gea saved the day. Too bad, Giggs stole the headline from him. laugh.gif

Rio was rock solid at the back with countless clearances! The only thing he didn't do is deflect Defoe's shot. laugh.gif

A great win nevertheless. Grinding out 3 points out of each game is the mission now!! flex.gif

I think the home game defeat had probably left a mountain to climb in the players' mind. They were playing cautiously most of the game. The first surprise goal by Bilbao didn't help either. It's only the last 20 minutes or so, when they really felt that they had nothing to lose, then we saw the fighting spirit especially with Rooney's goal. Why couldn't they perform like this from the start? Well, I guess they already had an eye on the league match since now we are the top of the table. hmm.gif

Anyway the home defeat in Europe is just bad. Imagine if United win 1-0 home game, tonight's result would mean we go through. Damn.

Watched the game from 60th minutes onward. Bad performance from the team. Even the gaffer couldn't sit still until the end and can see the hair-dryer treatment was prepared on his face. flex.gif laugh.gif

Still, it's a very important 3 points and nonetheless, a clean sheet. biggrin.gif
