Its not a must to custom rom.
I'm on stock rom, no issues for me at all. No antivirus at all. Of the family and friends that I have regular contact with using android, about 20+, no one has gotten malwares. |

For me batch restore isn't critical at all.
I can always install using www.market.android.com Easier that way, you can view your app downloaded library and just install. |

I played before gunbros, no issues leh.
But the game gets boring after 15minutes. Got better RPGs out there. |

The anti-theft feature is built into the phone already without the need to install avast.

Batteries have come a long way, although they are set to improve this year.
Not that long ago, batteries still had their own packs. Those first generation motorola phones, batteries were the size of a small drink cooler. |
