Hi all sorry if this question been asked or double posted because I just got a SGS2 for my gf two days ago and been experiencing follow problem:

When connected to wifi and do surfing or downloading apps from market phone will shutoff itself. There has been 3 incidents already and all is with wifi connected hence i deduce that's the problem. (note: not much other apps installed because it's a fairly new unit, 2 days old? :/)

Have anyone been experiencing this issue b4?

How do you know it is 'replicate under mitsubishi johor branch'?

It could just be assembled here due to supply chain reasons.

I wouldn't bother doing the firmware update via kies, it is just so damn slow downloading the update.

Easier to use ODIN

9100G or 9100?

May need to flash firmware.

But factory reset first before trying anything.

Do a factory reset and monitor again. If recur send in to service center to check
Should not happen at all on a brand new phone ; such issues only if you have installed some cracked apps or the seller has installed inside when you bought it

maybe someone at JB branch songlap ori unit and tukar it with fake unit.
its the matter of dishonest bussiness practice rather the quality of products.

I bought many AP sets before and none of them are FAKE.

Also the term AP usually missused, it supposed to be GREY IMPORT SET, not AP SET.

YES! It is supposed to be Grey import set.
AP is a totally irrelevant term that somehow found its way into the mobile phone trading scene.

Bottom line is AP are not fakes, they are originals too..
Just because one bought from overseas, and tries to sell here and just because the SME in Malaysia doesn't want to give them the warranty doesn't make them fakes...

The originals Sold by SME are AP's too if they too weren't given the warranty by SME..

Universally in any other country there is no such term as AP, parallel import sets are called grey imports, or parallel imports.

warranty is understood in those terms as only valid at the place of purchase.

AP? What is AP? Ang pai? Ang pao?
