hi guys, recently i got attracted to nendoroids(their cuteness beh tahan lah), so now im in the long but quite enjoyable(a bit painful ==") process of reading thru all the nendoroids threads b4 this, to know more abt them. im wanting to start collecting nendoroids, bt since im still a student, and my parents would think im crazy if i ask their consent to use their credit card for online purchases, so can any1 give some suggestions on how i could purchase? im especially looking for some old ones such as L, K-on n shana nendo. i guess i would hav to buy locally then, right?

You can try Mandarake ( http://www.mandarake.co.jp/en/shop/ ), they often have nendoroids for sale that have already been released. As far as I know you can pay with Paypal there, too.

Find a local store/seller that accepts COD? Since credit cards/paypal aren't available, and you're looking for old ones, try looking around in garage sales? There are also local sellers who can help you search for older items e.g. momotoys, timemachine (sorry, don't know anymore lol). And if all else fails there's always sakura for those pesky nendos you just can't seem to find elsewhere lol

hmm, i thought paypal = must hav credit card, n would buying overseas b very much more expensive than buying locally?

I am not sure about the paypal part, because I was under the impression you could "reload" money into paypal and use it like that...could be wrong though lol

..that would depend. If you're getting regular stuff that have just been released/going to be released, getting them direct from JP is (usually) cheaper than getting them locally. If you're looking at older, no longer in-stock stuff (such as exclusive/limited nendos) , then it really wouldn't matter whether you got them locally or overseas, you're going to get goreng'd anyway lol.

Getting stuff overseas of course, means having to deal with shipping costs and kastams lol

lol, i gave up with paypal a year ago, if they have reload systems then it would solve my problem perfectly, so these nice forumers you mentioned, basically they help find whatever you want and settle all things for you and post it to you, for an extra charge, right?
